yemmit90:The whole village is heaping praises to God on my behalf. Every day, i setup my farms, hours after planting, rain falls. I have faith in God. I trust in your counsel as a wise elder agriculturist, but I am still growing Sir. I will get to the place of irrigation one day, but I am.not there yet. |

Sp33i:God in his infinite mercy will see you through this project. Remember to give back to the village when the coast is clear. |

Cultivating Farm Number Three. I decided to add a third farm to the project. For this farm, I am making use of Gobara and Lagon mixture instead of Forceup and Lagon i made use of for my first two farms |

Op. You doing a great work. Please I want to ask question. I have 2 plots I planted cassava since last year and I want to harvest this month June or next monthly July. Can I plant corn after I harvest. Or it is late to plan corn cos I can I see in the comment when some said it is late to plant corn now. |

betabread:Good evening, you mean it’s not advisable to plant corn this period. I’m in Ogun state we are just having steady rain toward ending of May till now. |
| Re: My Maize Farm - Six Acres by Sp33i(op): 6:27pm On Jun 04, 2025 |
glorious10:Do bot plant corn until September. Unless you intend to complete the production by wetting the corn because the rains may seize by august when the plant gets to fruit development stage |

Agriculture is good o. I really love it. Plan is to buy big land, buy house and use a side for planting some things. I just love it. But on the big scale, there are security issues to consider |

betabread:You made a good suggestions. Maize gestation is 3- Months,so the OP should add Cassava on the Farm,so that as the maize season is over, the Cassava Products will be sustaining the land, because that takes another 9 months or more. Failure, means the weeds will be occupying the farmlands continusly but if cassava is planted, the Cassava grows above the weeds will not allow the weeds to grow and in facts, kills the weeds on gradual basis! Over to OP on this suggestions. |
