2027: I Want To Be President- Let Us Reinvent Nigeria by Reinvented(op):
I have been watching and critiquing these governments and they keep regressing instead of progressing. So, why not throw myself into the rings to challenge the corrupt leadership. If we all sit on the fence, who knows which side the fence will fall on. Hence, I have resolved to present myself for 2027 elections.

My manifesto: Re-invent Nigeria
1. Reduce petrol pump price to N500 per litre on May 29, 2027
2. Implement Orasanye report in full, effective June 30, 2027
3. Revisit and implement 2014 Confab report on regionalism in phases
4. Build a USA/Mexico type wall with Chad, Niger. To be completed in 2030.
5. Establish academic grants for indigent students from June 1, 2028
6. Reform INEC, Customs, Immigration and Niger Police
7. Redenominate the Naira and introduce N5, N10, N20 and N100. Expunge N500 and N1000 notes by Jan 1, 2028

8. Embark on large-scale commercial farming to be leased to experts and professionals (2028 - 2031 farming seasons)
9. Rebuild our hospitals and tax medical tourists at 500% of costs of medical care abroad, effective June 30, 2027
10. Introduce free and compulsory 8 yeare elementary and 4 years high school education. Only last 4 years in university paid for. Event at that States will be mandated to create Education loan scheme collateralized by Education Certicates.
11. Criminalize out of school children with parents liable to N2 years jail or N1m fine effective from May 29, 2027
12. Reactivate cargo trains from ports to inland with the plan to reduce haulage trucks by 50% in 4 years.
13. Re-organize and privatize the power sector with independent power generation and distribution companies by Regions and LGAs
14. Enforce fully accountable Local Council autonomy with annual professional audits by reputable audit firms approved by the FG.
15. Redeploy all presidential airfleet to a new National carrier. The president will be flying commercial airlines.
16. Implement 50% tarrif on textiles, shoes and any imported apparel, human hairs, etc with effect from July 15, 2027.
17. Reduce NASS to only 73 members (2 each per state plus Abuja). This will be based on Nigeria people referendum.
18. Phase out all foreign made automobiles in government by 2029
19. Build East-West rail, Niger-Yobe line, Kaduna- Onitsha and PH - Kano rail. All will be speed trains with 25 years warranty from constructors
20. Introduce "Proudly Nigerian Spirit" brand with stiff jail time for corruption, frauds, stealing and capital punishment for banditry, drug offences and armed robbery.

I am looking for a viable political platform to challenge Tinubu and others in 2027.
I hate corruption and have worked for all I own.

The only benefits I have received from Nigeria was N450 bursary awarded by Delta State, so I an clean to challenge these corruption.

Join me let's reinvent Nigeria. We can be better than Canada. I know how things work there and we can copy and paste.

My own idea is to take over my local government in Anambra state and transform it into another Israel.

Or do you want to be another Atiku that will contest for presidency 20 times until old age? You could end up achieving nothing.

When you know unserious people is when they list what they would do and forget to list how much it would cost and where the money was to come from

Making patrol ₦500 would cost Nigerian around 40 billion daily. Where would you get the money from

1. I am a Christian, so I will refer you to 2 Kings 7: 1-2. I pray the Holy Spirit to UNSEAL this scripture for you. Please, join me and doubt not.

2. Why are we paying N850 per litre if I may ask? Answer, Naira is very weak because our leaders are not smart and sincere. Do you know that corruption in oil and gas alone is "stealing the N40b" you referred to?

3. Be positive and pray for God's favour and mercy for Nigeria. I have God's favour, how do I know? Every organization I found myself in Nigeria and outside experiences turnaround. Not because I am very smart, but He shows me mercy and favour, so that I cannot fail, and I will not fail Nigeria.

You didn't explain how you will achieve most of the plans you mentioned.

This is Nigeria bro, things are easier said in Nigeria.

Implementation is the major obstacle in many governments.

Wrong.
I believe he’d enact a local content law stipulating that stipulates firstly, all operators in the upstream sector must have at least one refinery in Nigeria.
Secondly, the NNPC must satisfy local demands before exporting crude;
Thirdly, make up for budget deficit by exporting more LNG, Lithium, Gold and other minerals which are illegally mined and underreported.

His manifesto is great.

No money in Nigeria, yet the luxurious lifestyles of our politicians are directly or indirectly funded by the government purse.

Number 9 and 17 shows you have not studied the situation enough this is the same nonsense both Buhari and Tinubu did that triggered problems , you have not fixed the issues affecting industrialization and you want to ban the alternative supply , it will only lead to chaos inflation in those sectors

Be humble to learn. A wise man once said around every light of Knowledge is a dark rim of ignorance.

A barrel of crude oil = 159 liters
Cost of producing a barrel is between 20-40$ which is costly in Nigeria or inflated we’d never know.

20-40/159 =0,126 - 0.251$ per liter (201-401 NGN) @ an exchange rate of 1600 to a dollar.

International cost of refining is 5$ per barrel 0.031$ per liter (50 NGN)

Bringing the cost to 251-401NGN per liter

Throw in overheads of and additional 50 NGN.

I don’t see why petrol can’t be sold below 500 NGN in Nigeria.

Disprove my claims after reading the source.

The level of ignorance in this write up is crazy

Firstly the maximum petrol you can extract from crude is 40%

2) nigeria only owns 50% of crude produced the oil companies own 50%

So even if we sale crude at cost price it's still us lossing revenue which is still subsidies

I think u need to read more before u dive into topics u know nothing off

The devil’s greatest crime wasn’t violence or rebellion — it was ambition. The audacity to imagine his throne among the stars of the North cost him everything. Now, think twice before you romanticize your own dreams. No matter how noble or harmless they seem, in this country, your ambition can become your death sentence — not because of what you want, but because of where you come from. In some places, dreaming is dangerous.

In your counter argument; think, please think c a r e f u l l y… how does any of the first 2 points you raised negate the fact that crude oil cannot be sold cheaper?

You would have me think it needlessly to say but apparently you want it all spelt out. I gave you calculations based of our share of crude oil.

Watering it down for you, in a hypothetical situation where Nigeria gets 1 million barrels a day as our allocation from the production sharing contract with oil companies, we then designate 50% of this for local consumption and sell the other 50% (remember when crude is being sold it’s at international prices)
The reserved 50% we refine locally to satisfy local demands with minimal mark for profits by FG. This will keep the price of crude still less than 500 NGN the people will be happy and the government can look into other means of generating income.

I mentioned optimizing lithium, gold, LNG and other non critical minerals/resources export, and to make do with whatever comes from crude oil.

And hell, if our national purse suffers for the initial plunge in earnings the author of the post recommended downsizing the government. Or cutting down on the budget of frivolities like luxurious SUVs for public servants, house renovations and flying the largest number off delegates ever to the Middle East for a climate change conference.

Disprove my calculations, let’s start there.
