I swear.

All this PR stuff months before release is just setting it up for failure, cos when it doesn't meet these expectations for some set of people, hell will let lose. Only the fans can lap up any shït they produce and call it a masterpiece. But the most important part of movie's box office— the general audience, aren't so kind.

When I knew that Thunderbolts PR was just farcical, was when they started parroting shït like "it's just like A24" to market the movie. As if Disney can truly go halfway the length of what a proper A24 movie can go. As if true A24 fans were dumb. Seeing that comment coming from Florence Pugh was just funny especially she being a star of A24's most prominent movie. 😂

Anyways sha..... Let's wait and see.

I'd check with the excitement online to properly gauge and guess where this one can do box office wise. But my early predictions hover around $500mn. If it's very well received, I see a max of $650mn+.

This might be the best summer for Hollywood post pandemic.

Easily. Might get close to or equal 2019 summer levels.

Fantastic Four pre-sales is off to a good start but keep in mind that this does not automatically translate to financial success.

Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman haven't begun ticket pre-sales and they're both set to release much earlier than F4.

F4 is trying to get a headstart. Ticket pre-sales wouldn't be this good if you're not the only July (peak summer) movie selling tickets right now.

I think a $100m+ opening weekend is very possible now.
