If everything about life revolves around petrol price and things are so bad in other African countries as well as the countries of Europe, Asia and Americas, then why are we praying and fasting to have their japa visas?

Does it have anything to do with ebilokan and APC’s failure to crash the dollar rate through capitalist policies of deregulation and privatisation that made us prosperous collectively with high employment productivity in PDP’s 16 years?
D difference is other countries hav a working govt n u dnt.minimum wage is 70 n bag of rice is still above that.In other countries so many basic tins like petrol will be subsidized if price was above d purchasing power of minimum wage earners.
We pray to jaba to hav a passport ofa government that cares abt its citizen n make plans for their future.

If the citizens of other countries are only praying for government that cares, instead of obliging them to care and be accountable, then where will we japa to because we are too mentally lazy to work on fixing our own country?

Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?

In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;

or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority?

The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.

Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

The yardstick dangote used is unfair. Among all large crude oil producers in Africa Nigeria tops Algeria, Egypt, Libya and Angola.

Among these countries, Nigeria's pms price is the highest at $0.65 while Libya sells close to $0.20.
Nigerians don't enjoy what god has given us And if you take in to consideration that these countries also enjoy 24 hrs power supply, energy is expensive in Nigeria, reason why we can't produce or compete with other African countries

1. Dangote still has to import a lot of the crude he uses.

2. Also, extracting crude is expensive business. Very much so. At the end of the day, you are advocating that the people who bring out crude should sell it to you cheap so that you can get N100 fuel. That would not be possible
Crude oil has a global price.

Is $1 = #1600 everywhere in Africa?
It is not all African nation that has mismanaged thier economy and currency like Nigeria.

Instead of tinubu to deal with the few sudsidy thieves he chose to punish the helpless masses. Coward

Nigeria isn't the only country with crude oil and the other citizens pay more than we do.
Mention those countries please.

Many of them have crude like us.

Also, NIgeria, and all other subsaharan African countries are broke. And it is because of our dependence on resources.
Please what's the way out? How can Nigeria regain her prestige both economically, healthswise & Militarily among the committee of nations?

Just vote a leader who will bring polices that will enable us use our raw materials to make stuff the world needs. And let's end our romance with subsides.

Start from there.
