Dogalmighty17:Sir, you have a bad mouth. He made it, and I learnt something from that. Do not give up, no matter what everyone says. Sometimes, they are running from it, not because it is bad, but because they do not understand it. And every Nigerian should emulate that. Imagine we marry the Dangote systems with the Igbo apprentiship model? Nigeria will be churning out jobs. Don't you think so? |

drlateef:Federal government, Dangote and NNPCL can force them out of the market by utilising government policy and capacity to ensure NNPCL prices to Nigerians are below international market rates, so the importers will have no incentive to engage in the business. |

OnyeObowo1:We are a sovereign nation, stop bringing westerners into this, buttress your point...I think if there is federal government will and NNPCL cooperating with Dangote rather than competing with it, will help prices reduce for Nigerians and force importers out of the market. |

Good one. Dangote has really done tremendously well. I admire his resilience even in face of stiff opposition to his Refinery |

FreeStuffsNG:Mimiko's greed made Ondo State lose the opportunity to host Dangote Refinery for ulterior gains. Tinubu is by far more visional than most of Nigeria politicians. |

FreeStuffsNG:Oga stop being mischievous, Tinubu had no vision of refinery, or blueprint for a refinery ... the trade free zone was open to All that come lets just say is preparation met opportunity when he realize Dangote needed a place to build the infrastructure |

theredaddy:But at least he had a foresight to prepare a place like Lekki free trade zone. What if he didn't prepare?. Dangote was in Ondo state begging that numbskull Mimiko, who was making useless demands, Tinubu got wind of it and make the move, to bring Dangote refinery to Lagos. Kudos to Tinubu, he's a visionary, he understands the positive impacts of the refinery on Lagos economy. The more una look, the less una go dey see. Iye le o ma wo, e o to eye ri. Eni ti o ju ni lo, o le na eni pa. Agidi o ran, enu o she. ![]() E gba fun oga yin. |

Fearurcreeator:We have crude oil, all nations with crude or valuable natural resources give their citizens subsidies and welfare packages. I think it's still expensive. FG should be smart to go into discussion with Dangote, be it tax concession or any other concession, like leveraging on our shares in NNPCL to ensure crude is sold cheaper to Dangote, for lower costs for Nigerian consumers. |

dederocs:Those countries pay huge direct taxes. Nigerians don't. Saudi and America produces more that us but still more expensive than ours . Check budgets for these countries, Nigeria no get money ooo . I know government needs look for more ways to make money from our resources just like citizens too needs pay direct taxes well |
| Re: President Bola Tinubu At Dangote Refinery by dederocs(m): 3:31pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Fearurcreeator:In Nigeria we pay income taxes, VAT like everywhere else, what other taxes are they paying in other countries? You are a fuel consumer, you are not in government, a governor or oil producer, your interest should be buying fuel at an affordable rate, not supporting Dangote or government who are living large off us consumers and citizens. |
