I'm glad he made mention of we having a Muslim president on a Muslim-muslim ticket.

What step did MURIC take to remind federal government and NRC when the festivity was getting closer in case they forget? Or did MURIC purposely didn't want to remind federal government or NRC so that they can hang on it to pretend they were marginalized for eye service purposes.

If it were Hajj, you always remember to remind government because it is usually expensive, but because you likely wants to reserve train issue for eye service purposes, you never reminded federal government or NRC despite many Muslims are there working with NRC and government. To me, this is just an eye service allegation just to make your BaD mind known about other issues bothering you. Christians are more far educated than Muslims because they have many more quality private schools and have specialists in almost every areas of human life that government always need to work with for good governance purposes. Christians have more human resources than other religions that government will always seek their expatriate.

Muslims should spend more on western eduction, set up more universities and get adequate funding for their existing universities that are always below standard so they can have more human resources in future that government can always work with. There is a limit, government can talk about equality when there are no adequate human resources to tap from among Muslims as compared to their christian counterparts

Julie, the reason for the train last year was to cushion the effect of the fuel price increase which was really really distasteful. Government only offered free trains to look concerned.
Let's see if they repeat the gesture again this year.

Leave the festive period matter alone. It should not be our top priority when we have more serious issues. Deborah was killed cos she was perceived to be against Islam. Harira's case was ethnic violence not religion based so don't change the topic. If ipob wanted to make it a religious war, they would have burned down the mosques standing in igboland and even attacked the Muslim settlements. If you're talking about religious oppression, Muslims have been the ones oppressing others here. It was so evident that we could see it on nairaland for years when we have to swear to comment on their threads. Christians are very tolerant people but can we say the same for many Muslims especially northerners? Once anyone mentions Mohammed, you lots would pounce on that person to kill him or her. There were no trains to the East where Christmas is widely celebrated and no free ride for new yam festivals.

What is MURIC even talking about? The Christmas and end-of-the-year train rides were basically enjoyed in Muslim majority territories.
