The way I look at this defection is the way highly discerned political mind will look at it. That is the way ATIKU and Amaechi are looking at it.

To win an incumbent president in Nigeria and even in US you need FINANCE. AkwaIbom, Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa are the cashcows to bankroll the election. Other averagely surviving state like Oyo and other poor States can then support. Rivers, Delta, AkwaIbom and Bayelsa are very strategic to the funding of PDP for survival and election. This is the main reason ATIKU and PDP wanted to create chaos because of FUBARA removal. They don't like FUBARA they only like RIVERS money.

The more these cashcows defect to APC the heavier the burdens on the remaining States. Now, it remains Rivers and Bayelsa. Rivers is very strategic being a rich State and nobody knows the stand of FUBARA for now. Kano is not PDP and may not release money to PDP.

I believed the defection takes off a burden off AkwaIbom State money.

Your staying there makes no difference.
Why do think they ignore the clamour for the mandatory electronic transmission of electoral results?
Results are manipulated wether you stay there or not!
Most manipulated results are in Inec offices across Nigeria.
But mandatory electronic transmission of electoral results are absolutely evident to persons of interest, hence difficult to be manipulated.
That's the only way your vote will count.
If not,stay with them till eternity but only outside inec offices,you will only get your time wasted.
