Lere should be careful with the way Wike is using him. He's only a spokesman and Wike won't be President any time soon. Defending a someone like Wike or any politician for that matter is a really dirty job. No wonder Ajuri Ngelala took a decent bow in the guise of family woes. 4 Likes |

Dr Abati was clever by half with this response Obviously, someone solicited funds from Wike on Abati's behalf. Who is the Ex-Partner Abati referred to in that response? Naturally, when you live in glass houses, you shouldn't throw stone Unfortunately for Wike, he possibly does not have Video recordings of the visit of Abati and his partner to his house to solicit for the help, but obviously, Lere would not make such claim publicly if it is not true. Am sure it was Wike that briefed him. If Lere's claim was an outright lie, Abati would have threatened litigation. Even if it is half-truth, it means there is an iota of truth Politics is messy in Nigeria. Don't ever allow Nigerian politicians to have a dossier on you. And everyone will be extra-careful in approaching Wike for help now, because several years or even months after, the whole world will hear about it, once you are no longer in sync with him. It is even possible Wike will now install hidden cameras in his meeting rooms so he can record his dealings with people, in case they want to deny it in the future. And that is a terrible character. There is a difference between bailout and bailout funds... Lere never accused abati of going to ask Wike for bailout funds so saying you never went to beg for money is diversionary at best. Just making that subtle but important distinction. 4 Likes |

Interesting that Abati omitted Rotus from his closing vote of thanks but Rotus was on the same show and was the first to even speak - even though he was laughing the whole time. Why does Wike continue to allow this Lere Olayinka guy to come to the press to embarrass himself and Wike always? Everytime he has been on air, it’s always been bla bla bla and nothing of substance and always talking out of place. He should focus more on talking with agberos at the motor park. That’s more fitting for him. But wait ooo, didn’t Rufai say Reuben was sick and that was the reason for his absence. Why is Reuben saying he was at a book launch instead? Why didn't he deny his ex partner before now? Just be patient, Wike will burst his bubble very soon when he's through with the commissioning of projects. Reuben Abati deliberately avoided the guy and you could see Rufai Oseni questioning their guest about one #20m allegations in response to Reuben Abati going to Wike for money. Arise TV is not a Court of Law so no one should claim to be clean. Reuben Abati has his past records at the Villa including travels they went for and those that were cancelled but money was not returned. Did you observed the contradiction between reason Reuben Abati gave for not being at the studio and the reason given by Rufai Oseni and other crew members? That's to tell you that the Crew members are no longer practicing journalism. They're attack dogs. Rufai Oseni would say 'I put it to you ' in a TV studio? when we're not in court.
