Ikaeniyan0:The constitution of Nigeria does not recognise anywhere in Nigeria as South East |

Ikaeniyan0:Why are you pained, some of you don’t know that Geopolitical zones are not recognised by Nigeria constitution and may never be recognised because the North always oppose it because they want 1 northern Nigeria. Geopolitical zones is Alex Ekwueme idea during Abacha conference that later adopted by Obasanjo but never included officially in the constitution. |

And when Anioma is created, more will be created and more and more and more, wouldn't it be better if a regional system is in place ? We can't have up to 371 or 774 states, those ones would no longer be states but glorified LGAs and the political structure will look more unitary than Federal. |

But why is the hearing slated for Uyo, akwa ibom state. Una dey fear the reaction of the people yet Una wan create state for them. |

Ned nwoko wan deceive easterners. Na last last,na we, the people go vote whether or not to join ipob east. That na after governor, all house of assembly, senators, councilors and kings don agree. Last I checked, Dein of Agbor don shun Igbo, east affiliation, same as isele uku king in live videos. Ndokwa ukwuani don reply Ned nwoko. Na easterners carry ipob matter for head wan carry anioma matter for head. |

Nice one igbanke people in edo state should also be included. The uhrobos, ijaws and itsekiris will benefit the more if anioma state is eventually created because their huge oil and gas resources will now be used to develop only their areas instead of sharing it with anioma people. |

gidgiddy:same people who say nothing like south, are the ones saying south should be added to east for balancing. Make Una cut from East to form a dada or orashi state. Don't disturb us, Deltans or southerners pls |

chiefolododo:Lol! Make dem just give Southeast 1 more state and allow Northwest the way it is to avoid wahala. The only thing I have issue with is Kano alone having 44 Local Governments. It’s an aberration. Meanwhile, I hope Igbo haters can sleep well tonight. While I advise Senator Ned to ensure miscreants do not find their way into the event. Only vetted and accredited groups should be allowed into the event. All things being equal, we should have Anioma State as the 6th Southeast state before Christmas. |

Creamypie:Oga wake up this is not about joining the south east but about real development, anioma people and the igbos are already culturally connected which everyone knows so I don't know what u are talking about. The uhrobos are also planning to get their own state with headquarters in ughelli cause they have always felt cheated with the location of asaba as delta state capital. |

Mrexcell:your write up is same like a guest asking his hosts wife how often she feels Hot and if she's sexually satisfied by her husband, his host.urhobos and delta ethnic groups in all 3 senatorial groups don't complain of marginalization.all of Una for east go dey put long throat for our zone, after destroying your own with ipob and relocating south to enjoy freedom. No civilian government ever Created a state, only military, cos its easier for bola tinubu to make his son seyi to succede I'm and son of seyi to succede him than for anioma to be created and be part of KANU ipob east. Go and look at the clause or processes of state creation. No bypassing |

Creamypie:Total gibberish so uhrobos, ijaws and itsekiris will block development from coming to their areas because they don't want delta north that doesn't even have much oil resources to join the south east does that make any sense to u? Are uhrobos, ijaws and itsekiris related by blood or language to anioma people? The real influential people that will decide what will happen are out there holding their secret meetings while faceless people like you who are completely useless to influence anything are here with just a random anonymous useless opinion that's obviously based on hate and bigotry. |
| Re: Senate Sets July 4–5 For Anioma State Public Hearing by Nobody: 4:45pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Mrexcell:y'all from east are ignorant folks.Ned nwoko or whatever are powerless on this.governor, all reps, senators, councilors and chairmen, kings, of which are working with oba of Benin, h. o.a members, then people will vote in referendum, and with 75% majority, of which ika ndokwa/ukwuani are 5 local government, isele uku, wey be Aniocha, their king no want, same as Ika. In fact saying Ika, ndokwa and ukwuani are Igbo means trouble, b4 senators at senate will vote 2/3rd. Secondly, delta north has vast oil, ndokwa, ukwuani., especially where delta meets rivers, ndoni.thats the hope of. ipob to have access to High sea, which is dead on arrival. Lastly, olukumi, who speak like Yoruba, are also natives of delta north |

Anioma is made up of multi ethnic and multi cultural communities, if this sails through, it will be in the 7th state in the SS region. |
| Re: Senate Sets July 4–5 For Anioma State Public Hearing by ElevationD: 4:48pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Creamypie:Well you are free to remain where you are. You can live there comfortably, cast your vote and enjoy yasef. Last we heard, the entire Delta North is in support of an Anioma state. That has been the agitation since 19kilidim and before IBB’s government forcefully and wrongly partitioned the old Bendel State. |

| Re: Senate Sets July 4–5 For Anioma State Public Hearing by Mrexcell(m): 4:53pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Creamypie:If they are not igbos why did they all accept to be tagged delta igbo? Oga take ur fight to the uhrobos who I learnt are already in advance stage to conclude to present a bill to the nass for the creation of uhrobo or ethiope state and not me or imaginary igbo people that want to force u to join the south east. |
| Re: Senate Sets July 4–5 For Anioma State Public Hearing by zero8zero(m): 4:54pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Ignorance is making some people who don't know anything about Anioma think it is an Igbo thing... Ignorance at its peak. When the public hearing commences, if the news is true, you would see the representatives of several ethnic groups of Anioma that will be speaking at the forum. Then your ignorance will be cured. |

Creamypie:. Cry which blood what's even the contributions of ur area to the development of delta state and nigeria? People that has the resources to fight for are not even making any noise it's inconsequential people like u people that wants igbos to cry for? Absolutely nothing will happen if anioma state is created u guys are just too irrelevant in nigeria's politics so go rest ur arse somewhere abeg. |

Mrexcell:Sorry to burst your bubble friend. No shoooook mouth for wetin you no know. 1. Okpai power plant generates 480 megawatts, distributed to your Nigeria. 2. Ongoing upgrade of the same power plant to 930 megawatts to add to the national consumption. 3. Delta north is part of the oil producing areas of Delta state. Oil and natural gas resources abound. 4. Over 50 communities in Delta north have oil and gas in abundance. Examples are: Umunede, Ute-okpu, Akumazi, Ute-erume, Ute-Ogbeje, Ekuku-Agbor, Nsukwa, Olodu, Ewuru, Agbor, Idumuesah and Ejeme, Ewuru, Olodu, etc. Oil exploitation has been carried out in Oko Ogbele in Oshimili South. 5. Delta North plays a significant role in is a major exporter of petroleum, Palm oil, palm kernels, rubber rubber and timber. 6. The land is rich. The population is more than enough. Afterall Bayelsa state has just 8 or so local governments. So now tell us who are the people who have the resources please. |

ElevationD:Very good response better than the miscreant I quoted who am sure his community in delta north doesn't even have any resources to boast of. Now with all these u listed in delta north tell me why anioma people wouldn't like a state of their own to be created where the resources will be used for only the development of anioma land irrespective of wherever region the proposed state is zoned to? |
