Musk wants to Dangotelize a multi economy country like America by asking Trump to make EV compulsory for everyone. And he's like the biggest producer in America. Trump isn't having any of that. He removed that in the bill and Musk went crazy. That's the issue they're having. Musk wants to capitalize on his relationship with Trump to be super rich and Trump declined.
If he allowed Musk have his way, it means many American companies producing non EV vehicles will be out of business.

He is not an idiot. He's going to be US President some day. He used Trump and still using him by drawing him into a duel. It's now Trump vs Musk. That's a huge political badge.

Trump should have ignored him but he is going into a duel at a time his rating and poll numbers have tanked and on a day that economic data release confirm dropping jobs, imports and losing USD. If I were him, I would have borrowed the wisdom of Biblical Nehemiah when asked to come down and fight.

Musk has found out that Trump is now part of the dumb Republican groupie Trump once called dumb.

Musk has equally seen that most Americans dislike both Republicans and Democrats. So if he defeats Trump who defeated the Democrats, he becomes the true Apex. He can choose to be an independent and lure most guys out of both parties.

Why is this interpreted as Musk wanting to run for President? Even if he wants to he can't.... he has to be a US Citizen ...born in the USA period.
Trump and Musk are like two spoilt kids ... but Trump is afraid of going too hard on Musk .... Musk has too many secrets that he is not afraid to release .. and has done so i guess as a warning to Trump.

On the creation of a new Party... I truly believe America is ripe for that now ... but not with Musk's in involvement. Last elections ... I strongly believe the Republicans won because the Democrats did not support their Party ...they did not turn out in large numbers. Why? ...they were not happy with the direction the party was heading ...as in the gay agenda was a priority ...and the waging of wars. The Republicans came into office ...and now the Republicans do not like the direction the Party is going. It is clear to them that it is all about the interest of the rich ...and the desires of Israel. So why wouldn't now be a very good time to create a new Party?
