Gov Alia, during an appearance on Channels Television on Friday night, had alleged that the SGF and his associates had not spoken out or taken action on the wave of killings and violence, particularly in the Sankera region.

He further disclosed that a panel of inquiry set up by his administration had implicated unnamed individuals based in Abuja in sponsoring violence in the state

Akume is complicit in the Benue killings in one way or the other..

I watched he interview of the Governor Hyacinth Alia on Seun Okinbaloye's Politics Today on Friday 6th June and I just felt very disappointed with Benue People.

The voted for a grammarian with little action and audacity to fight head-on pressing issue bewildering the biggest Agrarian State in Nigeria.

He moved from Big-grammar to Big grammar with little or no concrete action plan. Even when the presenter probed further and wanted concrete demands from the Governor he responded with vague and open ended responses.

A Governor needs to have guts, audacity, courage and excellent gallantry.

The Reverend father collects monthly security votes as such can go ahead to prepare ad-hoc localised protection for his people.

Once the Bandits and Terrorist know there is a new sheriff in town, they bolt elsewhere.

As the SGF you should know better or are you part of the people sheilding the sponsors.
Even the blind knows that it's a sponsored ethnic cleansing.
The sponsors are not ghosts.
If you fail to see it then you are part of them

We are quick to accuse the British and her former queen of slavery but quickly forgot what they and she(late queen ) did to stop it. She named and shamed those in support. She named kings, isolated them and refused to do business with them.

Dubai identified, named and shamed terrorism sponsors in Nigeria, why can Nigeria not do the same after so many years of been plagued by the scourge, many good men, women and babies have been killed in cold blood. Many lost entire families some families of more than 5 people in a day.

Many daughters kidnapped, abused and killed in inhumane ways, even babies were not spared, but the suspected sponsors named cant be mentioned till date.

Why?

That secrecy is why the same evil continues to thrive,it's quite simple, they are getting away with it.and before you all say foreign sponsors Dubai named Nigeria. The outside rat can only succeed with the help of the the ones inside.

Akume had been struggling for years after all his loots had finished. He tried to penetrate Ortom but the guy no gree. He'd have destroyed his government. Ortom really managed the security of the state well, even as an opposition governor. They used to strike but spontaneously and not by overpowering the already existing security architecture. The 2 fellas should deal with their foolish--nez

in a sane country Alia would have been invited by authorities to say the names since he knows.i mean why do u make our job difficult when u can make it easy by naming them.Even the benue people that are losing their loved ones would have marched to govt house and force him to name the people killing their loved ones. But in Nigeria it won’t happen.a cursed nation.Alia is a useless man.another reinforcement that religious people are the worst in the society.

Don't mind the governor of Benue state. Cho cho cho, yet the good people of Benue are dying. He can not protect his people.

Wike should please be president after Tinubu so sponsors of terror can be checkmated. I trust Wike will sanitize our land.
Tinubu and Wike are major sponsors

Alia is the most clueless and useless governors we have in the country at the moment. Dude has failed as a clergy man is just a disappointment in politics.

Benue people voted for him thinking he will replicate the Rev Fr Moses Adasu format but lo, Alia is a complete misfit as a governor.

After two years as a governor, that guy cannot pinpoint a single viable legacy project to his name. I just pity Benue people and I sincerely pray they see light soon.

A governor ranting like a blogger, this man doesn't know his role and capacity, always crying like a child. Mr Governor you are the chief security officer of your state, with billions and security vote to fight insecurity. Use state funds to defeat these killers and stop whimpering like a child.

What incompetence are you talking about? If you have an inkling of what the man is doing for the common man in the state, your talk wouldn't be this gibberish. Answer this question; why do you think is the beef between the governor and Akume?
Akume wanted to control the resources of the state for he said he made him governor. The governor refused. So, Akume and his allies in the National Assembly whom the governor has promised will not go back next tenure, are now doing everything possible to unseat him as the governor.
When I hear ignorant people like you calling for state of emergency in the state, my heart bleeds. This man, Alia is the only good politician we have in the state. He's the only hope for the common people in the state like myself who have no politician out there to help. If that man leaves that seat, Benue will be finished by wicked politicians like Akume and his allies.
This's not just my view but the one shared by majority of commoners in the state.

He's different. Akume and his allies are the problem in the state.
The governor can't just come out and start calling the names of the sponsors the insecurity.
Why do you think Goodluck J. was not willing to call out the sponsors of Boko Haram?
It is a common knowledge in the state that Akume and the National Assembly politicians are the ones sponsoring insecurity in the state. The governor is a very good man. I'm not saying this because I am a direct beneficiary of his government for I'm still jobless since I finished my NYSC in 2018, but I'm full of hope with the man's style of governance, I'll get a job before the end of his first tenure.
