You don't qualify into a professional discipline based on experience alone. Are you saying you can become a doctor, lawyer or engineer just by practising for many years without studying the required course in the university?


Rufai Oseni is rude, unprofessional and has zero ethics of journalism because he never studied the course in school.

I think you need to go back to school and study terms like ‘in service training ’, ‘on the job training’ and more. I am an educationist. Not all profession requires basic certification to practice. I must tell you journalism is one of the most flexible profession that anyone can grow a career.

Yes you can learn on a job. There was a true life story about a black American janitor who didn't go to medical school but could perform heart surgery. Infact he worked with a group of whites and was the main reason the surgery was successful but he didn't go to medical school.

You are part of a reason the term backwardness is used for us! You would rather employ who has a certificate in a field than who has experience in the field? Maybe you need more schooling! In every profession there are training to be taught. Some profession are so flexible that you don’t need formal education to do it. 60 percent of Nigerian teachers are not educators! I guess they all need to go back to school and study education as a course? How many of your lecturers actually went through the faculty of education. I don’t have time to school you!
