Yeah, she tried to do like the average Nigerian that will receive transfer made in error and then keep quite waiting for the money to be forgotten instead of informing the bank. Or the fellow that wrote on this forum few days ago of receiving double salary and wondering what to do. Wise people told him to inform his employer immediately while others told him to spend the money. Ofcourse when the error is discovered through accounting auditing (in this mamas case Cctv audit) it will be too late to make amends as it shows a fraudulent character.

They don’t want to pay her her entitlements and pension. Smart way to hold on to it. Thieves they are.

Obviously they didn't like the woman but couldn't terminate her legally so they devised a way to do it which is put the bracelet there and am sure they had camera on her in case she denies it. The camera caught her taking it and the trap worked. Now if she was honest she would have walked out of the trap. Being honest required her to report it immediately and ask what she should do with it. She would have avoided the trap.

Why is a 71 year old working? Her children should be ashamed not granting interviews.

As usual and expected l see a lot of people who have never stepped into the UK or worked in their system making a lot of comments here.

The simple truth is that people of colour will always be treated differently (poorly) compared to the white citizens. Would they have summarily dismissed the woman if she were to be white? The answer is No!

I remember long time ago, I took the office extension cord home because it always went missing whenever I forgot to hand it over to the security for safekeeping. That particular day, I mistakenly took it home, and that was when Satan started ministering to me not to return it to the office. But something struck me — a strong conviction — to take it back. Was it found on her before she said she forgot? Was her house raided? She willingly brought it back when they asked her. It's possible she forgot. If she had an intention of stealing it, she'd never have returned it cos she had safely taken it home without being caught. If she thought of the harsh consequences, she'd never have returned it worst case she'd have thrown it away. Think about that. She's a woman of a sound mind, mind you. Nobody coerced or pressure her into returning the bracelet.
