The uplifting scene took place during his initiation at the 2025 Ballers in God Retreat, a five-day spiritual gathering that brings together professional footballers from across Europe. The retreat serves as a time for players to deepen their faith, foster community, and spiritually recharge before returning to their clubs and families.

Dan Crowley, whose full name is Daniel Patrick Crowley, currently plays as a midfielder for EFL League Two side Milton Keynes Dons.

It's not just traveling the world. It has travelled the world already. During Trump's 2nd term bid which he lost to Biden, I heard his followers,, mainly whites singing way maker. Similarly in 2019, I was just trekking down the miami beach slopy road and heard Davido's song playing nearby. I went inside to see what was happening, it was a group of whites dancing and sweating like no man's business.

Our music had placed us on the global map. We used to gain relevance through sports . I wish our sports could be revived, especially football. Each time I introduced myself in Germany, the only thing that came to their mind was okocha, likewise Argentina. They knew almost all our players back then. One of them had to tell me how bad he felt the day we defeated them, mentioning those who scored the goals.
