I simply said what the situation of things was before the final of the so called “glorified friendly” was played and no, you are all very wrong, the Nations League is not a friendly tournament and in fact, there’s no such thing as a friendly tournament especially when it leads to trophy-winning. A game/tournament becomes official once it’s competitive. What y’all are now calling “glorified friendly” is a competitive group stage to knockouts tournament where nobody comes to play with anybody. It was created to remove and replace unnecessary friendlies and the goal was to make it competitive. In case you are still confused, it ceased from being called friendly the moment it became COMPETITIVE. Again I maintain, your storyline would have been different if Ronaldo had lost this so called friendly tournament to Spain😂😎Pele, you will be alright

Pre seasons are friendlies simply because they aren’t COMPETITIVE. I’ve repeated this a million times and maybe you should look up what competitive competitions are and why they aren’t regarded as friendlies. In fact, during preseason matches, players are also careful so they don’t ruin their careers over games that are not counted as official. We understand your pains anyway😎
