Critics argue that the current administration continues the legacy of previous governments in sidelining the Igbos. For instance, during former President Muhammadu Buhari's tenure, the Southeast was excluded from key appointments, including the Board of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, despite being home to oil-producing states.


The appointment of ministers has been criticized for lacking inclusivity, with some regions receiving multiple ministers while the Southeast remains underrepresented. Lagos was and is the model, Tinubu met Lagos IGR at about 500million and took it to about N50billion, and it has increased rapidly since then, because he made sure he put in place a flawless tax system, that ensures the state collects at least 85% of its revenue, by removing leakages and creating a unified system for payment and government revenue collection. That is vision, that is work that will benefit the state perpetually, Tinubu opened up Eko Atlantic, that area is making Lagos one of the top destinations in the world today.

Eko Atlantic is sorrounded by Victoria Island and Ikoyi, it's your ravaged poverty stricken peoples from other states that sleep on the streets and deface it, building shanties, which will be removed and dislodged by the government.

Most states in Nigeria now are ravaged by insecurity, your governors can't even protect you in your ancestral homes, if you focus on criticising your governors maybe your states will stop being desolate insecure regions, that make your indigenes all troop to Lagos for refuge and survival. Focus on your state and state governors, who are lazy mediocres stealing your common wealth. You have no stake in Lagos, it's not your concern.
