During Abacha regime, Nigeria was worse off. The economy was bad and brutal. How come Nigerians deviced alternatives to cooking stoves if the economy was good? They even named the stove after Abacha. For those of us here familiar with the charcoal like stove that you have to load up with sawdust instead of charcoal.

She's right to some extent. Abacha did some terrible things but the people that took power after him looted Nigeria to zero kobo and perfect everything with Abacha's name and give Nigerians democracy and no one ask them critical questions.
