In times like these, when it's rare to find shows that reach beyond the surface and tap into something deeper than life itself, I stumbled upon this rare gem.

A hipster discovers some rare mushrooms with seemingly miraculous healing abilities, capable of curing every disease known to man. His mission? To share it freely with the world. But of course, not without consequences...

It was such an easy binge, one that left me yearning for more. The show throws up a host of moral dilemmas that made it hard to take a firm stance. On one hand, discovering a universal cure might be the noblest act since the evolution of our species. But on the other hand, the chaos it could unleash in our already hyper-capitalist world is unimaginable. Big Pharma would likely seize control, pricing it beyond the reach of the downtrodden , literally weaponizing life itself.

Struggle, mortality, and vulnerability are part of what shapes the human condition. Removing all suffering could flatten our experience entirely. Would people still be motivated to live healthy lifestyles if they knew a miracle cure existed? While it seems like an incredible solution on the surface, it could break the very fabric of biology, society, and ethics.

I love shows like this, ones that make me think. And to think, I had it sitting on my device for months.

An easy, easy recommendation.

Top shelf show, tbh.

UPDATE: It's a modern-day adaptation. Not a fan of modern. I love traditional.

It's a literary masterpiece. I know you value good plot more than anything else that's why I tagged you. The world building and power system is so good mehn. I've read the story five times, it's re-read value is just insane. If it can be properly animated like solo leveling, it'll shatter records and scatter the Internet.

I don't ever like or appreciate people putting movies in series thread BUT for this one,

Omo it's worth it. I have seen it twice already. I know I will still watch it again today.
