If you are earning 50k per month, your rent on average monthly shouldn't be more than N15K.

I once made such mistake. I lived in 3 bdr for 2 years just me alone. That was unnecessary. You don't do because you have the money now and go for expensive rent without considering how to be renewing

if you are to saved the house rent for 3 months, that will be 150k, what of feeding, clothing, transportation, nepa bills, security bills and other bills? Hardly will you see a room self-contained that goes to 150k in lekki or Ajah? Even in student area in Epe, you can't see it. Selfcon rent goes to 250k upwards.

before bad economy set in, people are still living in self-con, advising people wrongly is bad. House rent dey increased due to high inflation in the economy. Salary too isn't enough to pay the house rent too.

My rent is equal to my half month pay annually.

My 1month and half salary is what I pay for rent, infact, my December 13th month is what I always use to offset my rent yearly, sometimes too, I use my leave allowance to pay it conveniently
