Tinubu brought down quality of life for Nigerians. It's like he's sponsored by Oyibo to decimate the population of black people starting from the most populated black African country. |

My condemned obedients crew will not be able to deduce, from Baba Ahmed statement his darkest mindset Which stemed from the Mr President's then popular "ÈMILÓKÀN" slang Although one could observe that Baba Ahmed is becoming more soften and rarely in attacking Mr President, he's as a result of the Emilokan statement, programmed himself not to see anything good from Mr President. |

Hakeem Baba Ahmed has nothing but Hausa agenda, he doesn’t speak for the entire north, my question to him is are the local governments in Hausa states staffed with qualified people? Are their primary and secondary schools staffed by qualified teachers? What has he and the so called northern elders done about this? Let him start by calling out the Hausa Fulani governors |

One thing about this government is that ..if you are rich you will continuously to be rich, And when you are poor..you will continuously to be poor .. The policy of asiwaju was wired that way ..asiwaju is my candidate now nd 2027.. But he need to push bank ,Nirsal .boi nd others agency to the masses, people are rolling on debts, suffering, their capacity can't run a goods business anymore .devaluation realy affect alot of people's..but it's a good step at right time but it affect alot of upcoming business... |

Max24:Shout up jor, I was waiting for who say he was not vocal during Buhari's tenure and you did not disappoint me at all. He should be quiet na because Tinubu is lord of what. Tinubu is a failure and I am speaking from the South. I don't have regional bias and I will speak truth. |

Penguin2:I'm an unrepentant Peter Obi's supporter. But talking down on him? Never! You probably misunderstood the comment. Instead of talking down on Peter Obi, I'd rather ignore the thread completely. It is also noteworthy that while I always criticise Tinubu here (because I firmly believe he's not getting many things right), I am after a working country, not necessarily about my preferred candidate. That's why I may sometimes hail Tinubu's ministers for taking the right steps. |

Abi.. Tinubu has destroyed the economy and country and put Nigerians in poverty, hunger, hardship, inflation, high costs of living, high rate of unemployment, insecurity..it's a pity |

Coming from INEC Secretary that we didn't see his impact during infamous Maurice Iwu result writing. Yes, we all agree Tinubu has to step up accountability especially at the state level to reflect the enormous money allocated to the state. But Baba Ahmed a Mauritanian lacks the moral right to blame Tinubu for the mess the North and Buhari caused Nigeria. Same people who wasted. Anchor borrower money to marry wives rather than use it for farming it is meant for Same North who created Bandit Boko Haram and insecurity that is causing Nigeria billions of Naira. Same North who perpetually breed children and turn them to almajiri and in extension a liability to the nation. Baba Ahmed should know that the money yearly wasted to fight insecurity caused by his brothers is enough to develop the country. It is surprising that a dumb Baba Ahmed can turn a loquacious bird who ignore his northern leaders only to cry about southern leaders who are miles ahead of their useless leaders. It is high time we go regional and let every region develop at its pace |

Max24:Indeed. Northerners are not allowed to criticise their leaders. That is why this man, Atiku and thousand others kept silent as Buhari turned Nigeria into a killing field leading to horrendous division of Nigerians that endures today. Rather, hypocrtically, they even talk today as if Tinubu is the cause of insecurity in their region. Atiku even preferred to live in Dubai throughout the entire time Buhari was President to remain mute like a Monk who had taken a vow of silence !! Yet a day does not pass where he will not attack Tinubu in a personalised manner. This is how Atiku, in a way no elder Statesman should, publicly commented that Akpabio has a history of doing what Natasha, without any proof whatsoever, alleged. Can he ever launch into such an unprovoked and unfair attack against his fellow Fulani? Yet these lot who pretended to be blind and deaf throughout Buhari's Presidency can today pour all manners of insult on Southern "Infidel" leaders from Tinubu to Akpabio etal. Someone commented yesterday that far more terror and bandit leaders had been eliminated under Tinubu in 2 years than the entire 8 years of Buhari. Will you ever see this lot, the biggest socio-economic winners of the defeat of terrorism and banditry, praise Tinubu? These are the reasons I cannot wait for regional governance. As far as I am concerned, we are an impediment to each other because we hate each other. Success will continue to elude a nation with such a composition until we are allowed to go and manage ourselves, with total freedom, at regional level. Imagine being lumbered, as fellow citizens, with people who are not allowed, culturally, to criticise their leaders publicly, however badly they misrule, yet same folks can call other leaders who are not their leaders unprintable names. That is a recpie for disaster as it means anything good Tinubu does, hardliners and fundamentalist like this man will still fail to enunciate to their largely illiterate population or even announce as "anti-North". Regions should get serious with their development commission. It is a good start per the way forward for progressive Nigerians who now understand they have the power to do more at regional level. |

Verita:Yes....because he died prematurely, just like his compatriot Murtala. Prolaonged ineffectual leadership has completely eroded our sense of qualitative leadership. We have never had leadership in the true sense of that word. Incidentally we have sported the brightest brains who designed the right developmental templates that would have ushered us into eldorado but we ignored them. My respeAyidact(s) to Philip Asiodu, Allison Ayida and their contemporaries who could have made a difference and demonstrated this potential in very pragmatic ways even then. The trio of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello have works which indicate the direction we would have towed if not for the greed that ensued. Mind you they were no where near perfect but they were visionaries. |

SmartPolician:I was never deceived by those lies of how Tinubu built or discovered Lagos All he did in Lagos was to sanitize all fragments of the Government /public nstitutions of Lagos. And by him doing that, the state became easier for his auditing company to do its job in all areas. Of which he is even overpaid for the jobs. Earning up to as high as 20% of all revenues generated by the state. Fashola did far bar better than Tinubu. Yet, Tinubu took all the credit. |

etokhana:Truth is,Tinubu has lowered the bar in quality governance the way it's never been. He's got absolutely no potential or capacity to provide good governance. And the irony of it all is that he lives in a hallucinatory self delusion, believing that he's the best thing to happen Nigeria. A self aclaimed progressive with a retrogressive mindset who has domesticated poverty in the whole country. |

The Myth of Yar'adua What did Yar'adua achieve for Nigeria? Was it not the same nepotism? The same Fulani based government What 2 things can we point to ? Is it the rigged election that brought him to power, the shameful removal of Nuhu Ribadu, the lies about his health? There is nothing to write home about apart from the pity people feel that he died He did not leave any king of legacy If you say he died quickly fine . Let us say nothing . Let us say he did not have time but there is no way anyone can say he did anything to improve the lives of Nigerians |

| Re: Tinubu has failed to improve the quality of lives of Nigerians - Baba-Ahmed by WizardOfNG: 11:59am On Jun 11, 2025 |
Murketeer:Why would anyone who understands fuel price was heavily subsidized previously now expect it to ever be less than 500 Naira per litre after subsidy removal? Even with subsidy removal, price per litre of our PMS is still one of the lowest in the world and significantly cheaper than price paid in other major oil producing nations like Saudi Arabia. Removal of fuel subsidy, as meant to achieve, now sees more money in the hands of governors who are today receiving 3 to 5 times what they got, before subsidy removal, as federal allocation. If you understand the principle of holding seperate tiers of goverment responsible then you will accept that Governors, after the federal government has implemented reforms that releases far more money to States, can now invest in agriculture far more to aid affordabiity, bringing down the price of your precious gatri, and food sufficiency. In a nutshell, Subsidy was removed and Naira floated to reveal the horrible and self-destructive reality of Nigeria that subsidy of fuel, electricity, education , our currency etc was hiding. After reforms and eventually, the expected reaction is for all Nigerian leaders, at all level, and all Nigerians, in all States, to become more productive/competitive. I.e manufacture more and create avenues of industrialisation plus grow our export sector making us more self-sufficient as a nation with perhaps a trade surplus rather than deficit. All which will subsquently combine to make Naira a stronger currency. Also, reforms seeks to create an economically robust economy adequately diversified away from reliance on crude oil sales alone to ensure Nigeria creates a modern, innovation-driven and truly competitive nation ultiising her resources, human and material, optimally to then approach developed nation status. All the above can never be achieved without sacrifice for those that truly understand that previous governments used various subsidies to impoverish, underdevelop, disenfranchise and subdue Nigerians into weaponised poverty so an undesersing set of political jobbers, well-connected scammers and rent seekers can continue to misrule in peace and make billions for themselves indivdually when such sums should be going towards developing Nigerians and Nigeria optimally. It would be complex to explain but I will end saying, even if you don't know it, removal of fuel subsidy and floating of the Naira took out , in one fell swoop, loads of opportunist enemies of Nigeria's progress who, if unstopped, will ensure your great grandchild, in like 60 years time, would still be nowhere closer to having the opportunities open to a child in Europe today. In other words, without crucial reforms that will cause temporary and unavoidable pain, the great granchildren of ordinary Nigerians in 60 years time would not be significantly better off than the child of a Nigerian today if (1) crucial reforms are not delivered and (2) Nigerians do not see far enough to endure with reforms that will transform the future for much greater socio-economic successes for Nigerians and Nigeria. |
