Glad to finally see someone who has panels facing both North and South. There is a school of thought that believes that the position of the sun during the raining season favors solar panels that are facing the North, if you haven't already compared the output of both panels (you can use ratios if there are of different capacity), would you be kind enough to do run the average output data over a period? Pls what could be wrong with my Sachet Inverter? Recently it starts to make some relatively high and low sounds, and I also noticed that it blinks some of my lightbulbs. |

I once undertook to extract data from the PVGIS website, to show a client why the south face was overall the best orientation to place the panels. The data represents conservative averages over 2005-2020 for hourly PV production per 1kw. The data is for ILORIN particularly, I assume the data will vary for other locations due to unique sun path at each location. MONTH: ORIENTATION WITH HIGHEST PV OUTPUT/KW JAN : SOUTH FEB: SOUTH MAR: SOUTH APR: FLAT MAY: NORTH JUN: NORTH JUL: NORTH AUG: WEST SEP: WEST OCT: SOUTH NOV: SOUTH DEC : SOUTH Practical results may vary. ojesymsym:

I was hoping we could tap from your own practical data, however, the data you provided here seems to support that the months during which we have lots of rain May-Sept benefit from the North facing panels, I am surprise to see that the west facing ones are not that far behind. The difference during the dry season when the South produce more is greater than during the raining season when the North produces more. Interesting lexi28: |

BangaRice:Are these charger board quick charger? I got some that I use but charge very slowly even with fast charger cord, now I am planning to get the one in the picture below because of QC specifications on them. Pls do you know about these ones?

Who are the major distributors for SRNE Inverter & Batteries? How much will a 20Kva SRNE IP65 Inverter with 30 Kwh Battery setup cost? Including 25 600W Panels. |

I would like to join the Deye club. What is the maximum wattage from solar panels it supports? I think forum group members have 8kW and 16kW models if I remember correctly I remember reading there is an older model and an improved version. Please kindly share the model number of the improved version so that I can study it before buying I am thinking of increasing my panels to 12kW. Which is better the 8kW or the 16kW? And why? |

Noticed something odd and interesting, that my smart TV flickers just before I hear the roll of thunder. Does that mean I need to improve my earthing and thunder/lightening protection? |

lexi28:Thanks for this data. So much to harvest from there... I am not surprised that the west-facing panels posted great results, especially in the rainy season, based on my personal observation.... Appears a southwest-facing panel could be a best of both worlds... Especially for southwestern inhabitants in Nigeria... |

People of God, I noticed my Gospower 6kw inverter fan just spiked with higher noise. Load was 500w and generation was 1000w. My 15kwh was at 60% then. Within 20mins the battery dropped to 31%. I've verified no load from anywhere. I had to shut it down for now. The inverter is installed inside. Has anyone experienced this? |

Are you sure you got that info from the same data? The only months it seems more, you will notice that the difference is not much compared to the months where it is not high jmaine: |
