To get a sponsorship job fast in the UK, you need to get a regulated qualification. It is a requirement for NHS band 3 jobs. NVQ stands you out. Not all courses labeled as NVQ are actually NVQ. There are organizations in Nigeria & UK that offer NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care but it is not cheap

My question is about the tier 2 visa switch.

I have a colleague who was principal applicant and his wife was dependent. They don't have children yet. Recently my colleague's VISA was revoked and given 60 days notice by home office. His wife's company plan to give her COS/sponsorship.

Can my friend switch to become a dependent under his wife under current visa rules or would he need to find his own COS asap? Anyone with similar experience recently who can share how they navigated the switch.

This is dicey, if it was the husband switching it is easier and because the application his wife would put in will be treated as a fresh application, if the SOC code is 6135 most likely the husband would be denied because from the trend they approved couple with kid(s) under 6135 but reject couple without kids, the tweak to it might be if the wife's company have a COS slot for 6136 (the senior HCA) they should give her that way her husband's dependant visa will be approved or if she can get an NHS to sponsor her under 6131. I hope this helps

The wife's company give 6135. The husband came in with 6136 which is the current visa that was revoked.

Thankfully he has gotten another sponsor that just gave him 6135, not the initial 6136 he came with. Will this cover his wife?

"before we can issue the Employment Contract Letter, you are to send us your Front page of your International Passport, Fingers Print, Medical Health Report, School Certificate and Assurance letter for the issuance of your Employment Contract letter. "

What's the process of getting emergency travel certificate from the Nigerian embassy in London... I need one to travel with my baby to Nigeria as I can't wait till September for the nigerian passport to be processed. I plan to do his nigeria passport in Nigeria and return with him to the UK.

For those asking about teaching job, package your cv very well, and start applying through indeed, TES and so many other agencies. The truth is you only need to be a registered teacher in Nigeria with years of experience to get a job and of course pray very hard.
