Now, this is another angle.

Many will ignore this part of the story because if shots are fired here, they'll hit our parents, siblings, friends, ourselves, etc. Lecturers skipping classes, coming late, accumulating skipped classes to deliver one 10-hour lecture on a Saturday...a day students should use to sort their other businesses out.

All these amount to the Nigeria we have today.

So, we have 2 wrongs here....failure to pay salaries promptly, and not earning your pay...not doing exactly what you were employed to do.

Nigerians must learn to take responsibility. It takes us to make the country work, not just the leaders. If the civil service is corrupt (as it is now), no matter how good-intentioned a leaders, the workers will frustrate such a leader to failure....unless say na military rule or something like that. If the government decides to come hard on the civil servants, the streets will host unending protests and civil unrest.

Only way out is for us to look inwards and sort this issue out first.

Lagos — Pension teachers in Lagos State under the aegis of Teacher Pensioners of Nigeria (TEPAN) have urged Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to review his stance on paying the harmonised three year old outstanding pension allowance or risk losing their votes.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of TEPAN, Mr. Ayodabo 'Lade, accused Tinubu of failing to pay the arrears to teachers on their correct pension grade since the year 2000, contrary to what was obtainable in other five States of the South-west controlled by the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicaments. Did you see the numbers of people that throng to Saraki's House during this Sallah period to go collect peanuts? People trooping to Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation offices to collect branded One kilo bag of Rice & Noddles. Did you see the number of people of all ages who troop out to welcome Ex- convict James Ibori to South South! Do you see the number of handle mop following obi as if he is a seat? what of the one following dino malaye?

Your guess is as good as mine. Nigerians kill those they should defend and defend those they should kill! Pass to all your contacts & let your Political & Religion Leaders read, understand & digest.

So ASUU been looking for ways to take their usual long holiday with pay but Tinubu has been stopping by promptly paying their salaries and allowances, gave them 50 billions recently. Now they don't want Tinubu to break their useless record of ASUU strike in every govt of Nigeria. If u invoke no pay no work don't cry when govt invoke no work no pay

Is it not wickedness to have workers salaries delayed until 8th to 10th of the next month?
