Having said the above, No Yoruba that witnessed June 12 , 1993 election expects 25% from South East except Peter OBI directed
them to vote for the person, even if Peter OBI directed them to vote for the Yoruba man, I can bet it, about 70% of the people will rather abstain from voting.

I based my submission on the statements made by IBO elders against Abiola before the election and on my experience with my University course mates. Chief Tony Anenih had to plead with Chief Ezeife the Anambra SDP governor for SDP (not Abiola) to win narrowly in Anambra. The rest South East States, ABIOLA lost.

The saddest thing for ABIOLA is the loss of Rivers State. Abiola was very sad, he never expected he will lose Rivers (Bayelsa was not yet created). He later found out it was because of the IBOS domination and influence. Abiola won the South South States. TINUBU should never forget WIKE.

IBOs votes for TINUBU goes beyond projects in South East.

2027 should not even be the priority now. When Buhari came in 2015 and met a looted and depressed economy when governors were finding it hard to pay salary and no major project, no tension or campaign about 2019 election. TINUBU came and met en economy on life support where multinational corporations are leaving, fiscal and monetary policies in disarray , just 6 months of intelligent hardwork , the shout of 2027 started.

Honestly I see that the reason most Yoruba youths hate Igbos is because of decades of misinformation, lies and propaganda some of their political elites, especially led by Bola Tinubu told you guys.

Southeast back then had just 4 states and out of the 4 states, MKO Abiola won Anambra state and got over 42% of total votes cast in the other Southeast states while Tofa won MKO in the other 3 southeast states with narrow escape; around 47% votes while MKO got 43%.



But still, Yorubas continue to lie that Igbos did not vote MKO Abiola.....imagine a prominent Igbo man was on the ballot as VP to Tofa yet Igbos voted massively for MKO Abiola such that he won one state in Igbo land and the other 3 states MKO Abiola lost in Igbo land, he secured more than 40% votes and you still continue with this lie that Igbos never voted for MKO Abiola....honestly na only God go reward you guys and your lies and hatred for Igbos.....its only God and nature that will do the justice.



IBB wanted the election result collation stopped without announcement, against all odds.....Prof. Humphrey Nwosu an Igbo man risked it all and still went ahead to announce MKO Abiola as the winner of that election yet you ungrateful Yorubas never give him any credit...but will rather mention unscrupulous Igbos with no official government appointments like Arthur Nzeribe and co for whatever role they chose to play for their selfish pockets....and till date, have you ever seen Igbos talk about Arthur Nzeribe or even celebrate him?

Truth be told. South East has been neglected for many years. Nigerian government has no been fair enough to South East. Their representatives are wolves. Their infrastructures are long decayed.

I am not even a fan of any politician be it obi,Atiku,or tinubu since all are selfish and only thinks of their pockets but your representative in that south east haven't been doing well you have senators,rep members, chairmen, councillors and governors who receive allocations, constituency allowances etc from the president shouldn't they be the ones to build your roads,schools and hospitals? your rep members like Abaribe and ekweremadu who have been in power more than 12 years don't do anything with the huge allocations they receive you won't lambast them yet you insult gbajabiamila and yayi Adeola who does things for their constituencies.

Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.

I don't like APC and Tinubu and will not vote for him, but Tinubu brought federal government presence in the south east more than any president from 1999. He's building almost all the federal road in the south east, plus 2nd 9ja bridge run way and all that. No doubt about that but hunger is in the land. That is why I won't vote him come 2027.

Ibos definition of them being favoured is a president who abandons the entire nation to focus on them. Look at he federal allocation given to South East vs what they generate. They rather claim victim mentality than face reality. They claim to marginalized while doing everything to isolate themselves. Why is it that most successful ibo entrepreneurs rather invest elsewhere? Before you blame someone first look into yourself. While your finger at someone the remaining ones are pointing back at you.
