This is exactly the reason I stopped relating with some naija folks who looked down on others willing to get their hands dirty as a stepping stone to their greatness. It was so exhausting making it make sense. Sometimes, you need to do what you gave to do to get there.....there is dignity in labour!

Anyone thinking of relocating ought to first check the labor market in those nations... Find out what skills are needed for certain jobs, and obtain them (this can be easily done online).

You can't be equipped with skills like Web design, SQL and Big Data query, Tableau, etc, and end up pushing wheelbarrow or serving tables... Nope!!!


You will even apply and get jobs before buying your tickets.

This is what I was telling some people few years back on this forum. When they are making fun of people leaving big position to do menial job in UK, US and Canada. You guys are only hearing the beginning of the story, It does not end in menial job. If one is committed and have a vision of where he is going. It may take time. He/she will get there. There are boundless opportunities. You just need to be determine and put serious efforts to grab it.

He didnt say he pushed barrow, the poster of the news used that as clickbait. Here is what he said about barrow,

People will surely fall for his schemes again. And what amazes me is how he does it without getting jailed. He's found a way to beat the system.
