I was wondering why he couldn't keep calm and pretend, but ran to the media immediately. At least, there's a way you act at that level. He messed up and that might bring him down. The system doesn't like a powerful individual and they'll cut him to size.

I would have personally removed myself from public space and plan strategic moves to inflate the cost of moving payload to space to 1000% higher and crumble existing industries by aligning with China. Elon needs to work on his emotional faculties.
