A lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju has said that Peter Obi can only get the position of a vice presidential candidate in the 2027 election. Adeyanju said the only thing the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party is a VP slot for Atiku Abubakar should the coalition plan pull through. In a post made on X, Adeyanju noted that almost all the Northern politicians have a strong advantage in the current political situation. He also noted the Northern politicians are the ones who have what it takes to take over power from President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). On the Obidient Movement, Adeyanju said its members would still find it difficult to read the handwriting on the wall on the happenings within the political space. Only dummies don't know that Peter Obi is no longer a force like in 2023 when he rode on the back of religious sentiments and many of his supporters were buoyed by perceived sabotage of Tinubu's campaign by the sitting president through the naira redesign policy. That Atiku/Obi combo is no longer feasible.. not with strong man Wike in PDP will Obi cross from LP to clinch PDP VP ticket in 2027 when party faithfuls are there.. the ashaw0 politics Obi and his minions love so much can't work in PDP. Obi is the most popular person in Africa right now, he could be the most popular black man on earth as at today, what a man  To be honest, Adeyanju is correct. Tinubu has already bought half of the political elites in the South, including those from the Southeast, so it's going to be a North vs South war in 2027. So in order for the so called coalition to defeat Tinubu and his structure of criminality he is busy assembling, it is better to hand the Presidential ticket to a strong Northern candidate like Atiku Abubakar while Peter Obi throw his support for him with his tsunami Obidient Movement and it's over for Baba Sope. Anything less will be a walkover for Baba Sope.
