I had same experience at Yola airport in 2024.. took almost 4days to get to Abuja after booking online. But, I saw these game played by the personnels doing preferential treatments for monetary gains.

I am fully in support of Oshiomole here because, why make people check in online only for you not to use the online check-in system. That is outright deception. Online check in save you from all the stress and time you would physically check in. The airline is very wrong and is taking advantage of lack of supervision by the relevant authority

Most of those defending Air peace and attacking Oshiomole are Igbo who defend air peace out of tribal sentiments because the owner of Air Peace is Igbo

Why must we always bring ethnic sentiments to our discussions? Oshiomole is a Nigerian politician, these people only shout or speak for their selfish interest. Air Peace is a crocked airline that has been ripping Nigerians since airlines ticket soared because of the kind of system our "Oshiomole's have provided for corrupt organizations. Now that Nigeria has happened to him, he became a nuisance in a public space.

Exactly! Allow the next set of passengers get to their destination. Book another ticket, report the incidence to the appropriate channel, he has the direct line of the Minister Mr Festus Keyamo, who happens to be his paddy. Sue the Airline for making him buy another ticket for higher rate when he had already checked in. Simple!
Instead of displaying outright thuggery in a public space.

I fly regularly especially that route and have also witnessed it sometimes. However, a man of his status is expected to conduct himself in a more honorable manner. He have not only ridiculed himself, but also the institution of the Senate.
The best he can do is to bring it to the notice at the top management level. Onyema the owner of the airline will listen to him considering his personality in the society.

U know why everyone s wicked in Nigeria, it is because people like Adams oshiomole enabled them.
We keep harping on strengthening our institutions, but they(politicians) keep weakening them for their selfish interest.
We have more corrupt people in china, India, USA, Pakistan etc but strong institutions in those countries checkmate these criminals and put them In their place.

Imagine what is happening in the aviation sector, yet we have regulatory agencies like FAAN, NCAA, NAMA all turning their eyes away from these wickedness..

Thank God the senator experienced it too, so maybe he can bring it up in the next plenary. But will actions be taken by the Authorities?

All hands must be on deck if we desire a better Nation. The airline operators are a nightmare to many travellers & sometimes frustrate dreams, sell tickets to the highest bidders, cancel flights indiscriminately & encourage touting in the airports. Past experiences with them is still in my memory. The regulatory authorities should look into these issues. I'll not blame Oshiomole for his reaction.

dimeji1 Airpeace airline again. They did same thing to me in Dubai in 2022, I arrived exactly one hour before flight schedule time. The counter was closed in my presence despite the fact that I have checked in online. I even begged the Naija guy who happened to be their manager. He refused, I had to book hotel for another 48hours and pay extra money for another ticket. I expect more from them.

Paddi odenson. You clearly are not well acquainted with air travel within Nigeria. Check in online na mere formality. You still have to present yourself at the check-in desk prior to boarding any commercial flight here in Nigeria. Oponu!
