fredoooooo:There's a club based in North London. I can't see their badge anywhere in all this circles. Why? |

Android17:I think you are downplaying Raphinha’s effort in Barca’s season. I still remember somewhere in almost middle of the season when Flick confirmed Yamal is seriously working on his shooting as his style was limited to just dribbling. Raphinha plays a position that limits his shooting but cleverly found a way to make marauding runs and take advantage of his precise shooting ability. Raphinha’s excellent marauding stayed consistent throughout the season and the results were self evident. |

raumdeuter:When you join a top club, money will SURELY be spent and you must deliver or get axed. The pressure at a top club is second to none especially one whose aspirations is to win the UCL not just local leagues and secondary trophies like Europa, Fa cup etc. I remember when people said Unai was so underrated and that he'll do well in a club where he can spend some money. Unai won Europa with Sevilla multiple times and also with Villarreal. He got the top job at PSG and delivered arguably the biggest bottle job in UCL history. He then joined Arsenal, another top club, couldn't make top 4, got to the Europa league final (his favourite competition) he won it for fun at other small clubs but lost woefully to Chelsea in the final. He's now at where he belongs at Villa and he's doing well again. Surprising? No. Na water pass garri. Take him to Citeh, Bayern, Barca or Madrid and it's the same story again. Some coaches are build for the highest level possible, some are better with small clubs. Unai is a good coach though. |

swiz123:Nah. I'm even surprised you fell for it. The conversation was about Palmer and his lack of winning mentality as CFC's best player vs someone like Lamine who took it upon himself to decide critical games for Barca like KdB, Zidane, Salah etc did for their respective teams at similar moments. KdB didn't need to be top scorer for City to decide that Newcastle game in 23-24, where City were down 1-2 at St. James' park and needed to win to mount pressure on AFC. He came on, equalized from nothing, and then assisted Oscar Bobb to win the game. That dumb illogical guy was trying to define Lamine's impact by his number of goals. I was trying to show reasonable people why that just makes zero sense. |

MorataFC:If they keep winning for decades, theyll gradually win over the newer generation. The fandom will eventually come. |

Android17:Well, admittedly, I didn’t follow the argument from the beginning. But I also need to point out that Palmer has been cursed with mediocre managers and players. Yamal is better but Palmer holds his own in that creative department. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 1:05pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
Leyqute:Ask the people who live in Manchester which team has more fans currently between United and City (in Manchester not worldover). If they're honest, the result will shock people who think going to Cotonou is going abroad. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 1:07pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
swiz123:It wasn't even a Palmer vs Lamine discussion in terms of talent. It was in terms of winning mentality. I was implying Palmer can and should be willing his team to win even without being the top scorer and I used the Conference league final to give an example of a moment where he did it. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Leyqute(m): 1:11pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
Android17:Unfortunately for you and your agenda, Manchester is still red. Even though a chunk of the new generation (under 15 year olds) are City fans, it will still take some time and continuous winning for the City to turn blue. Shave your agenda for now. ![]() |

Android17:PSG's position will tell you why success get plenty friends. See Arsenal position nah lol. But United's position is a banger. That club get commercial prowess ooo. Imagine they find great success in this generation AI then they could overtake Barca and Madrid easily. Despite their failures, why are they so marketable and up there. Any idea? |

Android17:One player can't do it all the time. What difference would yamal do if he was playing with average players ? Can Barcelona win trophies without loads of goals from lewandowski and Raphinha? No You still don't get it,do you English professor? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Gucciboy: 5:01pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
airmark:Android17 seems to know only grammar. Lewandowski this season 39 goals 3 assists Raphinha this season 33 goals 18 assists Now yamal wouldn't have done nothing without lewandowski and Raphinha pumping goals to win games. This is what Palmer lacks currently. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Gucciboy: 5:07pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
swiz123:Seeing what Jackson, madueke and co does to us Chelsea fans during matchdays makes me to be more annoyed that Barca fans underrate Raphinha and lewandowski. Barca fans are ingrates. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Gucciboy: 5:13pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
Android17:So you wanna tell us yamal singlehandedly won all Barca games without Raphinha and lewandowski Or you wanna tell us yamal had this winning mentality throughout 38 league games whilest he ended up scoring only 9 goals. Jokes on you for thinking one player can do it all alone throughout an entire season like he's a robot or Machine and not human anymore. |
