You mean Jackson will score 33 Goals and 18 assists or is there another Jackson? grin grin grin grin

You really hate Cole Palmer, own it with your full chest.
What about Ferran Torres? What will he do playing for CFC?

Read your post very well. I think you made an error although I think I understand what you're trying to say. So let's analyze it.

Before Raphinha left for Barca, your club, Arsenal and Barcelona wanted him right? Think of it critically. One can assume Neto was at the same level in your club's mind when you purchased him some seasons later. I'm judging based on how much you paid for Neto vs what Barca paid for Raphinha. Don't be rigid in thinking it through. Just pause and reflect.

But now you are categorizing Neto as a dud. And something isn't telling you that your best player probably isn't influencing Neto's game productively. Don't shout. Look at Ferran Torres playing with Lamine. That should tell you all you need to know.
Difference here is the Manager. Hansi Fick is a top level coach so he brought out the best in Raphinha, ferran Torres, yamal and the rest of the team .

Pls don't allocate hansi flick's effort and appreciation to yamal abeg grin grin grin grin grin grin

All these argument for a player that scored only 9 goals. This is beyond agenda.
You're still talking about 9 goals. Even when you were told a player can be impactful without scoring the most goals. Is Flicks Barca the same without Lamine?

Swap yamal for mbeumo is still the same results.

Pls appreciate Hansi Flick grin grin grin grin

Every Barca success can't be attributed to yamal

Your arguments will work for another conversation entirely. Of course, the role of the manager is important. But you're not telling me anything new. The manager helps the player and the player helps the manager. Just forget Flick for now. If your ownership felt there's some unmaximized latent talent in the squad, they'd fire Maresca and hire that manager who will unlock the potential of the team. Think about it. You won't be celebrating 4th and Conference league.

I called Foden's 10 goals 4 assists season a complete failure even though his team finished higher your team. I have higher standards. Accept it.

I'm not holding onto Lamine. You need to hide the CFC aspect of your brain as it is making you sound silly.

Lamine came up as an example of a player with a winning mentality from this season. Why will I use Foden when he didn't show it?

When Foden showed it last season, I was here saying the same about him. It seems you've forgotten that Foden was the EPL POTY 23-24. Has Palmer won it?

The CEO of a company won't be jealous of an entry level hireling. That much should be clear.
We understand It's a symbiotic relationship grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Just read what you're typing. If Mbuemo was as good as Lamine, he won't be heading to United. Liverpool, City, Arsenal would have wanted the player. Trust me, clubs aren't blind.

Cunha was making the difference for Wolves. Mbuemo was making the difference for Brentford. They are good players. What's common amongst them? Avoiding relegation or midtable finish is their achievement. The better players won't want that. Winning the league, UCL, POTY - that will be their focus. That's what I'm saying about Palmer.

Think about it.

Even when I think you're joking, you'd type more illogical nonsense my way and I have to pause and really worry that you actually think you're making any sense.

Palmer scored in the Euros and gave England "hope"? That's an achievement?

He scored in the community shield? He scored in the Super Cup final? Did he not receive a pass to score? What makes you think the goal was more valuable than the assist for e.g?

Do you think Lamine cared that Inter players were praising him when Barca lost or do you think he was crying because he wanted to win and give no excuses? His answers are online. I don't need your subjective (usually brainless opinion) by the way.

You guys just have your heads in your behinds if I'm being brutally honest. I'm not even sure you understand the conversation that is ongoing.
Oga no dey cap! For real, you talk too much!

Which football match ever have you watched where the scoreboard display assists? Is it assist or goal that win matches? Even in FPL, does assist get you more points than goals?

Goals are MORE VALUABLE than assists that's why you see a scoreboard read 2-0. Two goals not two assists.

As if that assist didn't recieve a pass also.

You can't take everyone at once Oga. You go just dey cap upandan.

Of course, you've missed the point. I'm starting to think this is a CFC thing.

The statement means someone else did an equally important job. Rodri gave a superb pass in the Super Cup, Palmer finished it. So why is Palmer scoring the achievement? That was my poser to air...head.

In other words, if Palmer wasn't there, someone else would've finished the chance.

Mahrez scored 24 goals in 21-22 season yet KdB made the podium for BdO and Mahrez didn't. It seems BdO didn't rate the 24 goals like that.

Who said it didn't count? It counted for Brentford and United (another team with midtable aspirations) that's why they want to get him.

But will BdO voters consider him since he was playing with inferior players? Why didn't Liverpool, City and Arsenal feel, if we put him around better players than he had at Brentford we will win the league?

Think about it.

Their importance is NOT equal Oga.

Goal is more valuable than assist.

There are goals without assist. Is there an assist without goal?

What's your point? Pedri was playing for Las Palmas. Are you people incapable of layered thinking? Rhetorical question, I know the answer.

I'm not dissing the teams they were playing for. Anybody can be signed from any team. The point again is the MENTALITY.

Raphinha isn't in Barca to finish midtable which would've been an achievement for Leeds. He is in Barca to win league titles, UCLs. That's why he rejected your team to go to Barcelona. He didn't want to be the best player in a team that finishes 4th and celebrates it.

Basically assists are chances that were converted. So a player that created more than 60 chances with 8 assists like Cole Palmer have a Goal scoring problem that needs to be solved that's why Chelsea still hunting for a striker.

You're right, goals is more important.

You're still missing the point by a smidgen. I didn't say all assists are as important as all goals. I'm only responsible for what I've typed not what you understand. I said THAT particular assist was as important as that goal. Just like Jackson's goal against Betis. You're trying to be clever but the jacket isn't fitting you well.

The point of the statement is the person who finished the chance is irrelevant just like the person who gave the assist is a non-factor to the actual point. It is not an achievement. It could've been Rico Lewis. Rodri's achievement isn't that he scored in the UCL final - no. It was that City won the UCL and he was impactful. LOL

That's why even after Palmer left that season, City still won the league. Follow the conversation. You've tried to change it multiple times.

The person who finished the chance, the goal scorer, is the most relevant person here. His name is on the scoreboard.

After trying to derail me, you've circled back to arguing with yourself because you realized you were talking rubbish.

Nobody discussed that with you. My point was, nobody at City cared that it was Palmer who scored. City don't consider it an achievement (he could've influenced the game without scoring). The achievement was winning that game.

I'll ignore any time-wasting post from you going forward.

I'm always praying if CFC can hijack Mbeumo's transfer. That guy and Delap alone can makes Chelsea attack deadly. But I still doubt CFC board are still not serious about winning any trophy considering how City and Liverpool are rebuilding good teams that no English team can even challenge next season
Mbeumo only wants Manchester United. You guys should stick to your next-gem challenge.

Scoreboard care that it's Palmer who scored. History cared that it's Palmer who scored. No one can change that.

Without those goals, City probably will not win those trophies. Fact.

Ask the people who live in Manchester which team has more fans currently between United and City (in Manchester not worldover). If they're honest, the result will shock people who think going to Cotonou is going abroad.
