Yes, use it for my pumping machine.
Rated 0.5HP, though.

But I use it for air fryer and hot plate.
And I have accidentally use it for both pumping machine and hot plate like 2 times, still powers it.

I use a time for my pumping machine, so I do forget the time and use hot plate around same time.
So far, it chested both.
Thanks for this update, I’ll eventually go for the 5.5kva when I’m ready because my pumping machine is 1hp. I also love the fact that the hybrid inverter can work with or without battery.

Yes, I did... Both the North and South facing Panels had marked drops in output in specific parts of the year, approximately 5-6 months annually, when compared to the West facing ones.

From the annual data below: The west panels came a close second with a 2.4% lesser yield than the south-facing panel.
Annual Sum for Each Region:
WEST: 2025.04
SOUTH: 2074.30
NORTH: 1913.00
EAST: 1973.08

Furthermore, the rainy season, which was your major concern, the North panels (964.99) had just a little advantage over the West panel (955). See data below:
Estimates from April - September:
WEST: 955.82
SOUTH: 903.80
NORTH: 964.99
EAST: 917.61

Invariably, the data shows that South and West-facing panels will have better yield than the North or East facing panel all year round.
Does the bolded also apply to Abuja?

I have some panels facing south and was considering adding more panels facing East, I am now considering adding more panels facing West.

Thanks everyone for chipping in.

Any idea if they have a dedicated service centre in Nigeria?
DEYE already launched in Lagos and Abuja, and service centers available.

That data should apply to all locations in Nigeria.. You are better served placing the panels facing West...

He has answered you by telling you there are better batteries you can buy.

Anyway, yes, it will carry the things you have listed as long as your pumping machine is the small type.

...I am powering only fan,tv,fridge and pump water .

for that battery to last long enough, you need do the following
1. overSize your Solar panels
2. Use the pumping machine only during the day when there's enough sunLight
3. Ensure the Pumping machine isn't more than 1HP. Better if it's max 0.7HP
4. Ensure yo don't use the Fridge and Pumping machine at same time
5. Ensure you only power the fridge during the day and put it off anything from 4:30pm

Hopefully, your Solar panels are properly sized enough to not take ages to replenish lost juice. Left to me, would suggest you increase your budget and get a better Lithium battery, or use part of that Money and get quality LeadAcid batteries.
Alternatively, Exclude the Pumping machine from Solar and use Fossil Generator for it.

Also hope your inverter and charge controller ain't gonna be another source of bottle neck

says who; if the BOTs were to work properly, every advert on this thread ought to be erased along with it's author. Make una no dey profer solution / suggestion(s) based on how e go favor una.

What I expect the admins to do is create dynamic rules you are shown while writing a comment e.g on this thread, just a single advert with 1 or 2 picx per day, or that no phone numbers or etc. That way, people don't get confused. At least even if you go break law, make you know ahead of time.

or they could even monetize it that to be able to post ads, you need be a PRO member or something of some sort. MayBe ordinary members can only post an AD once every 3-days, while PRO members can post maximum of 5 ADs per week.

Nairaland dey operate like GloBaCom, which in turn operates like Nigeria PoliThiefcians, who are in turn Nigerians and you know how Nigeria is - nothing really ...

I can never stop thanking you guys for the good works by keeping this group alive and flourishing.

Please I will appreciate a professional advice. I want to set up an Offgrid system for my family (3 Bedroom)
Loads are;
Double door thermocool freezer, Water heater(Alternate), 1.5hp non inverter AC, 3 Ceiling, Washing machine, Home theatre, 55" Smart TV, Electric Iron(shut down others when use), Blender, 15 lighting points, other household items + allowance.

Question

1. What capacity of lithium battery bank can I use
2. What Premium or Medium grade inverter/size can you recommend
3. How many panel

For the lithium battery bank, which is advisable?

1. Buy already coupled bank from China or
2. Buy the cells/materials from China and find who couples it in Nigeria ( Store on Alibaba is Docan Technology or any other recommended).

Finally I will do my review and MAKE SURE I get someone from this group to install which will be my contribution
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Bb007: 5:46am On Jun 14, 2025
You need to do a proper load audit, state the wattage of each appliance and how long you plan to run each per day

You are better off with a 48v inverter (5-6kva)
If you need to find someone to couple it for you, just buy the coupled one from Docan. Almost every supplier in Dongguan has the Lishen 314ah, it is better value for money.
