That's exactly the message the writer is passing across to him. If Atiku really wants a better Nigeria and is not selfish, he should respect the opinion of the youths and let presidency remain in South till 2031 DesChyko: |

For me, all the opposition should concentrate on for now is the way to stop or minimize rigging. If rigging is minimize to a large extents then tinubu will never win even if two major candidates run against him. If they can't do anything to reduce rigging in 2027, then both Obi and Atiku are wasting their time contensting. APC will always find a way to rig or rewrite the results even if it should be by 1 vote difference if they relax. If there is assurance that votes will determine the winner by 2027, the politicians that decamped and still decamping to APC wouldn't have done that. |

Those suggesting Atiku haven't gotten sense after 10 years of APC misrule. Tinubu is bad but it will be a terrible mistake for Atiku to succeed him |

Agbegbaorogboye:My question is this: if Atiku wins and quits after 4 years, do you think the north will be happy to see the presidency go back to a southerner who will likely be there for the next eight years? |

hisexcellency34:This should be edited to read: Two Costly Mistakes Nigerians Can't Afford to Make in 2027. Peter Obi is a billionaire, a very rich man with a very beautiful wife. It is Nigerians that need him, not the other way round. If you una like, make una no get sense and make the Agbado man finish with una first. |

bolaayenimo:it's a very bad advice. If they all stand on position of strength, the coalition will not stand. One person has to sacrifice for the benefit of the whole country. But for now, they are just selfish and greedy |

Obi should be careful with people like this. This message stinks from ronu coven, see them advising Obi into wrong decision |

Thanks Dayo. I'm one of the bona fide members of the obidient movement and one of those who delivered alimosho for Obi. We aren't politicians and we don't expect money from anyone. We've empowered a lot of youths in our domain who are doing well today. What baffles me is the manner all these illiterates portray us, out of sentiments. Theirs is like the case of a 🐔 that you're saving from a colossal death but got angry because you didn't allow it to go to the garbage dump to feast. It's a yoruba adage. If it gets to feast and a hungry eagle roaming the sky, looking for what to eat now grabs it , it will end in the eagle's belly in no time. That's what's happening today. Sadly, tinubu doesn't send their papa They always believe in all these yes sir type of leadership, even though the leader is slitting their throats open. Imagine the federal government promising to teach them forex(gambling) and empower barbers? When India, China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh are busy taking advantage of their youthful population to develop their nations with various skills acquisition programs? What happens to scholarships and oberseas training to study about the lithium ion production that's about to start in Nigeria? Gradually, we can replace those expatriates with skilled Nigerians . This is an unfortunate government. These leaders are more than wicked . |

uchennamani:Na OBI be the only politician wey be billionaire (Although he is not even a billionaire)? When you people sound this arrogant you make Anambra people who OBI ruled for good 8years to appear stupid. Now ,Nigerians should be trooping to Anambra to enjoy OBI good work instead of going to the UK |

Tinubu is not ready to relinquish power. Not with Inec judiciary and almost all government departments under his control. |

Agbegbaorogboye:They have this way of absorbing OBI of all form negativities we can all see. Between Buhari of 2014/2015 and OBI of 2022/2025 I don't know the best packaged and whitewashed ever in Nigeria history among the two |
| Re: 2027: 2 Costly Mistakes Peter Obi Can’t Afford To Make - Temidayo Akinsuyi by WizardOfNG: 9:38am On Jun 14, 2025 |
Agbegbaorogboye:I keep warning you to think before you rush to speak emotionally and unintelligently. The bolded confirms how steeped in pugnacious ignorance your outlook and arguments are. How can any sane, objective and critical thinking person, even if they hate PBAT passionately, not see the meritorious logic of Tinubu wanting to be VP to a Northerner, in a period widely agreed to be the turn of the North, to then be best placed to be APC Presidential candidate when it is the legitimate turn of the South? Even as Tinubu was not VP, did the scenario above not play out to see Jagaban become President by defeating Osinbajo, he helped become VP, to clinch APC ticket? Now, the question to ask a shallow and simple-minded thinkers like you is to explain to intelligent Nigerians how it makes good sense, or appear good for perception and optics, for Obi to accept being VP to an imperialist and dishonorable Fulani in what is viewed the turn of the South. We know that no Northern leader, if situation were reversed, I.e a Southern trying to become President in a period believed to be the turn of the North to produce the President, will accept to be VP to a Southerner. Will not and can never happen because of how imperialist that "owners of Nigeria" North is in outlook. Why then would any sane, proud and progressive Southerners not uncompromisingly back Southern Presidency in 2027? You hate Yorubas, Tinubu and the SW so much you cannot even see that this is about what is fundamental and definitive about Nigeria and her direction from this point on. Oga, 2027 is for a southern Presidency. If upright, demand the North put their might behind Obi so the candidates who can win are Southerners. Simple. Those of you who sellouts to the regressive North, at a time the South has a chance to define liberating freedom forever for all regions of Nigeria, are the real traitors being guided by hate for Tinubu rather than an objective respect for what is best for Nigeria and our generations unborn. Your own is just that Tinubu must be removed even if that comes at the expenses of returning our nation to 'one Nigeria' regression under another unprogressive and gradualist Northerner. |

You are all talking as if Peter Obi is still looking for president. The man is already the president in his first term. Someone who delivered a televised democracy day speech and you are still doubting if he is the president? Tinubu and Obi are concurrent president and their tenures ends in 2031. God bless Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR) God bless Peter Obi (Netizen GCFR) God bless federal republic of Nigeria |

AMINDA:Your analysis does not align with reality. In the 2023 election, the APC secured at least 25% of the vote in all South-South states except Delta, where they got 16%. This was despite significant challenges for the APC, including widespread anti-Buhari and anti-APC sentiment, a cash crunch, and controversy over the Muslim-Muslim ticket. Yet, they still managed this performance. Now, imagine what could happen in 2027 when none of these issues are factors—and with the presidency appearing more pro-Christian than Muslim. |

hisexcellency34:If all the collation wants to achieve is just to remove Tinubu from power, then they are wasting their time. Any submission besides Obi/Datti is a waste of focus and energy. The way N8geria is now, we don't need Atiku or El rufai and their likes. |

bolaayenimo:Which youths are you referring to? Were there no youths who voted differently? Were there no youths in the many states he lost? Or are you talking about the opinions of southern and northern Christians who felt threatened by the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket? What he largely received in 2023 were protest votes—unless he manages to repeat that feat, which I seriously doubt. But no one can predict the future. The reality, however, is that it wasn’t the youth factor that influenced the election, but rather the religious card—and given the circumstances, that’s understandable. |

Bendeco02:All politicians rig where they’re popular and disrupt the process if possible where they’re not popular—which is why you see some win their state, wards or region close to 100%. Btw this is not limited to Nigeria or Africa it’s a global phenomenon as far as politics is concerned. |

Agbegbaorogboye:The problem with ur submission is asking and answering the ultimate question which is will southerners support another Northern president just after buhari's disastrous and uninspiring 8 years? ![]() Must atiku contest in defiance of the fact that it is time for a southern president? |

OfoIgbo:did u wake up from coma after the election? The people were rooting for Osinbajo because whenever Buhari travels and Starboy takes over, the naira always rise. Obi was never the favourite. Both Arrewa, Ndigbo, Nigeria deltans and Southwest were saying they don't want the old men. Cos of this, Atiku made a post on Twitter that he is a youth while Tinubu was seen riding a stationary bicycle to show he is fit. Nobody was talking about Obi cos they felt he will still be Atiku's running mate until he decamped to LP two days before PDP primaries. Most people even thought Buhari will have Osinbajo as consensus candidate but he didn't. This is where Obi got his massive support |
