The hunger in the land is too much and now getting out of hand. While I don't expect the govt to feed me, they should pls make life bearable to us. As it stands, I'm already frustrated with life. How can one wake up and have no hope of what to eat? How am I going to function effectively? Family problems again. Calls will be coming in from younger siblings making demands. Instead of assembling Agricultural Economics and Extension experts, Animal and Crop Scientists, biotechnologists, Agricultural Engineers, etc for a workshop, symposium. Nawa o The ministry seems to be unaware of modern farming techniques being employed by countries like Switzerland, Isreal, Malaysia, Brazil, etc No wonder, they're still routing for an archaic cattle routes\ruga instead of embracing ranching. Saudi Arabia and UAE are being emancipated from Religious brainwashing and fanaticism cuz they are rich and can afford to send their children to world best schools where they brains get developed for critical and analytic thinking. Nigerians are facing real hunger and inflation—this calls for robust strategy: irrigation systems, storage infrastructure, improved farmer access to finance, security for farmers, mechanization, seed quality, and market access. Governance should be evidence-based. Prayers don’t plant crops, lower the price of food or stop herdsmen from killing farmers and destroying farmlands.
