...I am powering only fan,tv,fridge and pump water .

for that battery to last long enough, you need do the following
1. overSize your Solar panels
2. Use the pumping machine only during the day when there's enough sunLight
3. Ensure the Pumping machine isn't more than 1HP. Better if it's max 0.7HP
4. Ensure yo don't use the Fridge and Pumping machine at same time
5. Ensure you only power the fridge during the day and put it off anything from 4:30pm

Hopefully, your Solar panels are properly sized enough to not take ages to replenish lost juice. Left to me, would suggest you increase your budget and get a better Lithium battery, or use part of that Money and get quality LeadAcid batteries.
Alternatively, Exclude the Pumping machine from Solar and use Fossil Generator for it.

Also hope your inverter and charge controller ain't gonna be another source of bottle neck
Lmao. Hilarious that you think using a 150w fridge on a 5kwh lithium battery would be an issue. Even Grade Z cells would handle that.

Not surprising though, since you'll just say anything to shill tubular batteries.
Creditalerts:
it's well 🤦🏾‍♂️na here my money carry me reach .I have install it.
The battery is fine and will serve you well. It just won't give you 100% rated capacity, since they're actually closer to 85aH cells instead of 100aH.

You can pump your water just fine and use your fridge, ignore the doomsayers.

I can never stop thanking you guys for the good works by keeping this group alive and flourishing.

Please I will appreciate a professional advice. I want to set up an Offgrid system for my family (3 Bedroom)
Loads are;
Double door thermocool freezer, Water heater(Alternate), 1.5hp non inverter AC, 3 Ceiling, Washing machine, Home theatre, 55" Smart TV, Electric Iron(shut down others when use), Blender, 15 lighting points, other household items + allowance.

Question

1. What capacity of lithium battery bank can I use
2. What Premium or Medium grade inverter/size can you recommend
3. How many panel

For the lithium battery bank, which is advisable?

1. Buy already coupled bank from China or
2. Buy the cells/materials from China and find who couples it in Nigeria ( Store on Alibaba is Docan Technology or any other recommended).

Finally I will do my review and MAKE SURE I get someone from this group to install which will be my contribution
Your 1.5hp non-inverter AC may pull more than 3kw at startup, so any setup you build should be a 48v one like Mrreed said.

1. This depends on your budget. 17kwh is a good start.
2. 6kw is fine, just be sure to get something from a good brand that actually delivers rated capacity. I recommend Deye, SRNE, or Growatt.
3. 12 ~600w panels should be fine.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Pabodo: 8:46am On Jun 14, 2025
Thank you very much, I will have to leave out the AC completely and make plans for an inverter AC in the future.
If I remove the AC, can I use 280ah@14kwh and a 5kw Inverter?

Do you recommend hybrid inverter or get external CC?

Yeah sure.

Prefer hybrids. But like I said, from a good brand.

I've been experiencing something similar to this with my two Cworth 12v Lifepo4 batteries connected in parallel. The voltage hardly crossed 13.3v despite several hours of full sunshine.
I'm experiencing this it's not crossing 53.4 pls any help.thanks in advance

I'm using 420 wat panel 8 for this setup

It will charge and stop charging after 3mins pls help thanks

You need to go learn about Lithium batteries Discharge curve it will give you insight to why..

You will see the Flat curve

Did you change the bulk charging and float charging voltage in the inverter?

Why did you not install the WiFi module?

BTW, that inverter you have will carry any pumping machine thrown at it. Good buy.

Change your battery type to User, set bulk charging and float charging to 56v. The manual will guide you better.

I don't take any new "breakthrough" from this channel seriously. Reason is simple, many of these never make it to the market as some of them may not be practical. But by Jove it does look fantastic on paper.

I watch Undecided by Matt as an entertainment channel. Not really as technology that will ever see the light of day.

Above is strictly my opinion though.

I'm not alone though:

Thanks for the warning, though this is the first time I am actually coming across his channel.

As for the Na-ion he referenced, it already exists and has been sold since 2024, solely for industrial use though. A 48v 1.27kw battery that is able to deliver as much as 41kw in a minute! However the battery is not designed to run for more than 5 mins and can deliver 12.8kw a minute in that scenario.

https://natron.energy/products/bluepack-critical-power-battery

It's still early days, but it looks like Na-ion will have many different kind of use scenarios that will probably outstrip lithium, mainly due to how much safer the chemistry is.

e hard to see used version of these products. If you find one, it's mostly due to upgrade BUT you sef try put price so as to reduce amount of nonconvertible calls.
Anytime I put price or my contact them dey always ban me. Na why for now I no dey put price, no vex

Since I started my off-grid journey, yesterday was the worst day I've encountered so far with less than 1kwh of energy generated.

The rain started on Friday here in Lagos, with a bit of sunlight in my area that was able to fully charge my batteries. The rain progressed to yesterday being Saturday which lasted the whole day with no sight of sunlight 😭.

Thank God for the decision I took to over size my battery bank as it paid off yesterday.

People often ask how many batteries they need, the reply is buy as much as you can afford. As you may probably need it one day.

Preator:
People of God,

I noticed my Gospower 6kw inverter fan just spiked with higher noise. Load was 500w and generation was 1000w. My 15kwh was at 60% then. Within 20mins the battery dropped to 31%. I've verified no load from anywhere. I had to shut it down for now. The inverter is installed inside.

Has anyone experienced this?
This repeated itself this morning and a reset didnt work. I noticed that once the utility is on and the PV is generating, my battery start discharging fast. Current temp solution was to move the grid changeover to neutral so i cant charge with utility.

Anyone experienced this?
