Maku was a deputy governor for two term and a senior minister of information under Jonathan, so how will he be awarded OON in 2025.

Besides he's above the OON award.

This is the lowest level Nigeria has ever gotten in governance, it is clear Tinubu and his appointees are not even the ones who prepare the things they publish to Nigerians and they don't even scrutinize it .

Additionally they don't even employ good hands to prepare these things, I mean so the list passed all the hierarchies to the president and none of them saw all these blunders of errors they made?

Speaks volume on the whole type of governance being operated by Tinubu, no wonder the country is the way it is today, it looks like they are too focused on looting and preparing for 2027 that they hand over the important issues of Nigeria to those they employed via tribalism and nepotism who in turn do terrible jobs.

While they who are supposed to even scrutinize the jobs are too lazy to do that, neither would they sack or replace those that did the terrible job because they don't have regard for Nigerians, shame means nothing to them since they have shameless paid defenders online and offline who will fight tooth and nail to support them and their nonsense.

You don't have to blame Tinubu for the error of Chief Anyim Pius Anyim who's the chairman of the National Award Committee.

The committee chairman, Pius Anyim has admitted some errors and they would be rectified.

Well, now he’s got another title added to the titles he’s already got. So that (like a lot of Nigerians), the MC will be reeling out a long list of titles while introducing him “…CON, OON, MTN, AIT….” 😁😁😁. Besides, whatever other privilege has the honor other than being reel out in events?

Seriously I don’t think it was intentional. I doubt there’s a clear database with all national honors awardees.

I'm not sure recipients of these national honors are contacted by the government before compiling their lists. This would've saved the federal government a lot of embarrassments.

I blame Gbaja! I don’t like him and I have never liked him. This kind of thing is his responsibility and should not have passed his desk if he were a competent chief of staff!

The party was founded on a faulty foundation of hate, lies, lust and ethno-religious bigotry
That's why they only excel at divisive politics and propaganda and fail abysmally at governance be it in economy, security or any serious indices of national growth or development
I only pity those who support and defend them especially when they have nothing they personally gain from the govt

Don't just blame govt people. This is a common trait in 9ja people in recent decades.

We do things anyhow. Because when people needed to do things right, they used money, long-leg and tribal advantage to get ahead.

We have been praising and criticizing the government long before your "lord and saviour" came on the scene and we will continue to do so even after he fades into political oblivion.
