Why would God saved only one person and allowed the over 240 souls to perish? Including Young children, Pregnant women and young adults....and ofcourse men hustling to make lives better for their families and the country at large.....So God just closed his eyes and allowed them to die that tragic death and save just one soul? I don't understand.......

Have you ever travelled on a plane internationally? Gone through security and immigration at an airport? I doubt you would say this if you have?
Once you are on an aircraft the number of agencies that know are incredible

If you check in and do not board, The aircraft will not take off until they remove all your luggage from the plane. They know every person on the plane and the seat they are on Not only in India but in the destination country they have the information, Your name, passport number , where you bought your ticket how you paid, your phone number everything

Both pilots are experienced, so pilot error is eliminated

It can't be wrong flap setting because it will be read by both flights captains and confirmed it.
Yes bird strike is possible and engine flame out is also suspected.
