raumdeuter:M. Viduka, I see you sir! Times have changed. Can you imagine how much heavier the legs of players of that era were because of the boots, socks and shin pads? Today, shin pads and socks are thinner while boots are lighter and performance driven. |

Isn’t this the same Trezeguet that played for Aston Villa? Omo eh, Ahly is actually big across Africa and the Middle East. No debates. |

Griffon:It’s Inter. They’ve struggled with maintaining possession and troubling the Ahli defense 😂 |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by PDPGuy: 2:00am On Jun 15, 2025 |
Ustari - Inter Miami’s goalkeeper - being their man of the match in that first half, tells you all you need to know about Busquets, Messi, and Suarez’s impact on the pitch. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 2:02am On Jun 15, 2025 |
PDPGuy:If not for the miss, Trezeguets has been unstoppable. They may still pay for the multiple misses, with a Messi moment of magic. |

airmark:Yeah. That guy is a baller. But I don’t know if it’s solely due to his quality or the horrid Inter Miami defense |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 2:20am On Jun 15, 2025 |
PDPGuy:That's what you get with a weak defence protected by Busquets. |

Ibime:Trust me nothing is happening at worst any reactionary fanbase or women groups would be cautious of the premier league rules and uk law as Greenwood is a free man and deserves the freedom from his past . It's a bet Chelsea as a big club should take and throw their full support around Greenwood. |

![]() See competition with over the hill Messi, Busquet, Ostari(38). Trezequet that couldn't cut it at Villa was moving like prime Neymar some hours ago. Yesterday the manager of Auckland City(New Zealand) complained that some of the players couldn't travel because they have other commitments meaning they have other jobs. Some see football like side hustle in that country but they'll be playing Bayern today lol. I'll be surprised if they don't concede more than 7 with zero corners today. Part time footballers Vs Bayern Munich. Hmmm There's no way you can compare this competition with the UEFA champions league. They're not mates.

AirBere:FIFA can't sustain this tournament unless they restrategise. You carry club football tournament go USA. How many fans dey watch ball there to fill stadiums full capacity? See as dem dey even hawk the ticket like Okirika cloths... Low sales. Timing... Why put such tourney when top European leagues just ended. Players suppose go small holiday and report back for preseason. Which serious club go put body fully for this kind tournament? As a fan, I will want to enjoy more football matches even during off season, but realistically, this tournament no be am, at all.. |

timbros:Infantino is moving like a Nigerian politician. What exactly was he thinking?. That 100m reward for the winners will force people who see football as their third or 4th sport to come watch? Low ticket sales, low fans, low vibes. I heard the competition is like the prep for the main FIFA world cup that's why it's in the USA. It would've been better in a football loving nation like Brazi. The competition is watered down. So them Vitinha, Nuno wey just finish intensed nations league how much is left in the tank. Bayern will put up their D or E-team and Auckland city will still not be able to cope. For now, I'll watch when Chelsea is playing and also the final. Let's see how it goes sha 😴 |

timbros:The game was actually fun with end to end action. Al ahly should have scored at least 3 in the first half. Inter Miami was better in the 2nd half then Al ahly wasted a perfect counter in the last minute of extras. |

AirBere:If I'm the boss of a part time footballer who refuses to take time off to play Bayern Munich. I will personally sack him |

Ibime:We simply can't tell what's happening there. Did they refuse to take time off or their bosses denied them a time off. The tournament isn't a one game against Bayern. It's at least 3 games which doesn't equate to 3days. Some of them are actual 9-5 workers with football as side geek. if you're a senior OPS/SME being away for two weeks is a long time ooo. Their team captain is a site manager, football is like side hustle. If they were given permission to go and declined a life time experience of playing against teams like Bayern then they deserve to be sacked lol. However, I feel they were not allowed to leave but we simply can't tell. |

AirBere:Club World Cup has been telegraphed for a year. E no get how you want senior reach that you can't take 10 days off with a long notice for a once-in-a-lifetime event. From what I read they are mostly junior workers and students which is to be expected from lads in their 20s. You won't get lads of that age at top top career level |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 9:39am On Jun 15, 2025 |
Ibime:That means they were given time off but refused, their bosses decided against them leaving or they simply do not want to be there because I see no reason why they shouldn't be there. Playing against and taking pictures with the Bayern players is already a big deal. |

Go anywhere worldwide and mention Ronaldo and everyone knows who exactly you are talking about. They are always adding something for the other guy. 'fat Ronaldo, 'Original Ronaldo' "Brazilian Ronaldo" "no champions league Ronaldo ![]() |
