Their inability to march doesn't make them bad soldiers. But it indicates there is something wrong somewhere. Maybe they don't train on how to march, which is okay, or they cannot march (even if they wanted to), which is likely an indicator of an institutional issue.

That is a very lame excuse. Marching is a military tradition and proof of fitness. Even the British and the French can march, so don't make it seem like this is about Russia, China, and North Korea.

If anything, America's inability to march indicates their lack of cohesion and fitness. Marching takes serious effort and if you're not healthy, you cannot do it.

The US army, as a rule, takes anyone, even those who are not physically and mentally okay, since they're always having a shortage of soldiers. Plus America is a very unhealthy nation overall. They eat lots of junks.

They looked menacing regardless. It’s not by lifting your legs in a bid to touch the sky, it’s by wielding the larger stick and being trained to use it. Some of the women had protruding booties from sitting around all day. It didn’t make them less dangerous.

The average Gen Z or Gen Alpha Call Of Duty player today is more feared than a cloned Audie Murphy of yesteryears. No number of artillery will protect you from kamikaze drones operated from continents away.

Marching does not carry the values of freedom or democracy.
It carries authoritarianism. The head FORCING you to march/respond.
So it fundamentally interferes with their sense of freedom.
Nigeria,Russia, Korea... We can march very well.
But NO freedom/ No Democracy.
