Hmm Peace is what we crave for. Both sides should be aware that wars are always destructive in nature, both the winner and the loser will lose something |

Iran should calm down.. they won't win this war. Israel's allies have been helping to intercept missiles but Iran's skies are open. |

The only thing remotely impressive about Iran is how, as a pariah state with basically no allies, their GDP is higher than each and every single African country. There is no doubt in my heart that the second the theocracy is overthrown, in front of our own very eyes, their economy will eclipse the very best Africa has to offer in multiple folds. It is terribly shameful, I must say. Once a great civilization with technological advancements which predate the very formation of Europe itself, they allowed that pissfxx religion conquer them and set back their progress for the better part of a millennium. |

Let wait for FG robust reply on this when killings go on in their own backyard unnoticed. Lately, Nigeria keep witnessing an increase in the number of misfits (the political class and the supporters) and it's terrible and once you speak out their next line would be you must be an Obidient, Ipob and the likes, na so politics take reduce some people thinking abilities o |

Religion separates people and pits brothers against brothers; only the truth of Christ Jesus sets free and changes enemies into friends. Jesus had no seed of hatred, killing, and destruction; that is why we can be reborn to be like him if we accept him into our hearts. |

Hope Trump's peace deal scales through, ese US might join Israel in fighting the war. Iran ought to dismantle all its nuclear sites. Israel is ready to extint all terrorists suspected countries. |

ISRAEL IS A STRATEGIC MILITARY OUTPOST OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION In the heart of the Middle East lies a small yet fiercely powerful nation—ISRAEL. Though its size is modest, its influence is immense. For decades, analysts and political theorists have debated Israel’s strategic role in global geopolitics. One prevailing perspective holds that Israel is more than just a homeland for the Jewish people—it is a vital military and political outpost of Western civilization, established and sustained to counterbalance Arab and Muslim influence in the region. HISTORICAL FOUNDATION WITH WESTERN ENDORSEMENT The founding of Israel in 1948 followed a tide of global sympathy for the Jewish plight after the Holocaust. But beyond humanitarian concerns, the West—particularly the United States and Britain—saw an opportunity to plant a stable, democratic ally in a region otherwise dominated by authoritarian regimes and rising Islamic fervor. With the Cold War looming, Israel quickly became a foothold for Western interests, acting as both a political ally and a forward-operating base in an oil-rich, unstable zone. MILITARY PROWESS BACKED BY WESTERN MIGHT Israel's military is among the most advanced in the world, a status achieved not only through INTERNAL INNOVATION but also through extensive support from Western powers. Billions of dollars in annual military aid, most notably from the United States, ensure that Israel maintains qualitative military superiority over its neighbors. In return, Israel serves Western strategic interests—whether through intelligence sharing, weapons testing, or acting as a deterrent to adversaries like Iran and Syria. A BARRIER AGAINST ISLAMIST EXPANSION For many in the West, particularly in Washington, Israel is viewed as a bulwark against the ideological and military expansion of RADICAL ISLAM. Its presence in the region prevents the unification of Arab and Muslim political ambitions that may threaten Western allies or global economic interests. The Arab-Israeli conflict, while tragic, has paradoxically fragmented regional unity, making it easier for the West to NEGOTIATE, MANIPULATE, and INTERVENE when convenient. DEMOCRACY AS A TOOL OF LEGITIMACY While Israel is indeed a vibrant democracy, it is also surrounded by regimes that often repress dissent and restrict freedoms. This contrast plays well into the West's narrative of Israel as a beacon of freedom, modernity, and progress—a mirror of Western values amid a sea of perceived backwardness. This moral positioning justifies sustained Western support and frames Israel not merely as a national entity, but as a civilizational ally in a region long defined by turmoil. THE PRICE OF STRATEGIC UTILITY Yet, Israel’s role as a Western outpost is not without controversy. It has drawn fierce opposition from the Arab world, contributed to endless cycles of violence, and placed millions of Palestinians in a state of limbo. The question then arises: IS ISRAEL TRULY A SOVEREIGN STATE ACTING IN ITS OWN INTEREST, OR A PROXY FOR FOREIGN POWERS PROJECTING DOMINANCE? Perhaps it is both—a nation forged in the trauma of persecution, yet entangled in the machinery of global strategy. CONCLUSION Whether seen as a friend, foe, or fortress, Israel occupies a unique space in the modern world order. It is not simply a Middle Eastern state—it is a symbol, a sentinel, and arguably, the West’s most enduring investment in a region where power, faith, and politics are eternally entwined. If Israel is a military outpost, then it is one carved with precision, fortified by necessity, and justified—rightly or wrongly—by the geopolitical anxieties of a watching world. --- This piece is an analytical reflection and does not necessarily represent the views of all readers. It invites further debate on the complex intersections of geopolitics, faith, and foreign policy. |

They are both wrong in this conflict cos at the end there will be no winner. These are all offsprings of Abraham fighting for the land God promised him. But they don’t know that the true promise was the Christ and not these physical things |
