If Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala decides to run for president in the 2027 election, it could be a big chance for the Southeast to finally lead Nigeria. A strong leader like her could help bring real change and might even defeat President Tinubu.

If she runs with someone like Aminu Tambuwal or another well-known and respected northern politician as her running mate, it would send a strong message of unity. Many Nigerians would trust such a team and believe in their plans for the country.

For the PDP or Labour Party to win in 2027, they need a candidate who is known across Nigeria, trusted by the people, and able to unite everyone. Dr. Okonjo-Iweala has those qualities and could help lead Nigeria in a better direction.

In your opinion, who do you think could really stand a strong chance against Tinubu in 2027?

She may not be able to beat Tinubu. Only former governors or popular senators can be president. These are people who have demonstrated their popularity by winning enough votes to be declared governors.

Unfortunately, NOI has not. She's not a politician. She's a technocrat who only gets the opportunity to serve her country. She has never run for an elective office before.

Iam not sure someone with double nationality can contest to be the president of Nigeria. I think it is against our constitution, I may be wrong and I stand to be corrected.
