In London I believe Davido is likely to pull more crowd than 50 cent.

I suspect Davido is pulling out because the American stars have been given greater prominence

50 cent and Mary J Blige had bigger commercial success than Davido but that was 25 years ago. Their time has past.
I believe they would have sold more tickets in London because of Davido given the large Nigerian population

Some years ago I taught in some schools in Lekki and VI. Those rich kids that travel out of the country every holls, we have so many of them. They barely listen to Wizkid and Davido. They call it mumbo jumbo. Go and find out. Even Michelle, the daughter of a popular celeb I won’t mention, happened to attend some of my lessons at the time. She didn’t give a damn about Wizkid and Davido’s music. You’ll be surprised to hear these kids streaming Mariam Makiba, Yvone Chakachaka, Mc Hammer, New Edition, Jason Derullo…
The one that even got me, was a 15 years old’s music collection that included Elvis Presley. I asked him if he knew what he was listening to and he gave me the break down. These kids read and look up historical charts. They ask questions like full grown adults.
It’s just a matter of choice, psychology and exposure. 50 cent could be older, doesn’t mean Gen Zs wouldn’t be interested in his crafts. Don’t use the average Nigerian demographics to conclude on this. It’s silly to do so.
Michael Jackson is long dead, but Davido plus Wizkid combined can’t meet up to his average annual sales after he’s gone. That’s legacy for you. Meaningful music transcends time. Tupac was a gangster, but his punchlines are words on marble. We still come across them today. You can’t say the same for Davido. Wear a better thinking cap and take off that nonsense you’re putting on.
