I've seen certain people throw insults at Prof Soyinka and calling him a tribalist simply because he supported Bola Tinubu who happens to be from the same tribe with him.

Yes, you can call him out for maybe supporting the present government (because of the hardship citizens are currently facing) but tarnishing his image by calling him a tribalist is callous.

Have you suddenly forgotten his role during the Biafran (civil) war? He was even jailed for this oo. I don't think he supported the OBJ regime (another Yoruba president).

Yes, he may be supporting Tinubu because of their long standing relationship. All of you hypocrites will also support your long time friend and brother for any position even if you know he is a fraud.

Call him out for that and stop calling him a tribalist or even saying he's doing this because of money.

That's even a very ridiculous thing to say. Someone didn't support any government for money when he was much younger and needed money for flexing and stuff, it's now that he's already old and has no real use for material things that he will do that for money?
