In Makurdi, Benue State, schoolchildren and students are seen lining the streets to welcome President Bola Tinubu during his visit, following reported instructions from authorities. This is despite the state government declaring the day a public holiday. Despite poor weather conditions and vehicles splashing water on some of them, the students remain in place to greet the president’s motorcade as it passes. https://www.akelicious.net/benue-pupils-line-streets-to-welcome-president-tinubu-despite-rain/

What a country we find ourselves. May it not be well with our greedy, evil and wicked politicians. Why should these pupils stay by the roadside to welcome a man whose rulership has been nothing short of evil? Why endangering the lives of these innocent kids. What if they are rammed into by Dangotes truck? This is risky for crying out loud. I remember when they tried to do same for wike as part of his reception, but wike banned it here in FCT |

I support Tinubu n I support APC but I don't like how this Benue governor is handling issues. It seems like obi he's more interested in photo ops |

Emapthless wicked APC forcing kids to stand in the rain to welcome a leader that has impoverished their parents ..if these kids fall sick is it the govt that will pay for their treatment? |

Just imagine what is happening in this country 😩😩 And Escobar has no decency to stop his convoy and order their teachers to return them home. Conscience is something you cannot fake; if you don't have it, you don't have it. |

Factcheck0001:Agba boys will always find a way to drag Peter Obi into everything, including those that don't concern him. He lives rent-free in their empty medula oblongata. BTW, what stops Escobar from ordering his convoy to stop and instructing their teachers to return them to the classrooms? Good leaders don't seek validation - it comes without being faked or forced. |

Putindbutt:Leave out the kids in your politics of madness. Thank you. |

May he it not be well with Tinubu and Gov Fr Alia for subjecting these innocent kids to this act of wickedness. Anyone who vote APC again 2027 is cursed |

How low can we go. How insensitive. What is the Governor thinking. You are riding in a fully air-conditioned ccozy suv yet poor children are forced to line up in the rain to welcome you. Shame on the Governor Despite the grieving families Shame. |

Is this is spell or what? Among those poor school children being subjected to this dehumanizing condition are those of then who have lost a relation to the recurrent bloodshed and killings in Benue State. Fr Alia needs to be kicked out in the next political dispensation. |

pls attach the video of his convoy splashing water on the students. The level of insensitivity of the government of the day is very annoying |

Factcheck0001:Yes they should return them to the classroom till the rain subsides and send them home. Or to you, it's better they stay under the rain if they fall sick who will pay their hospital fees? Fear Godooo. No matter how much APC is paying you to defend them, this is wrong. |

Thank God they are not my kids, the head teacher and teacher who took them out would have been in trouble. I hope it's a free school otherwise double wahala for the teacher. |
