When the South West is said to generate more VAT than other regions what does it even mean? Without making sales in other regions can companies in the south west generate the same level of VAT if their products and services are consumed only within the South West? Obviously not.

If VAT is listed according to sales made and generated in each state a clearer picture emerges.
