We were having lots of unexplainable issues that will keep us mum for days. To a point I planned to just disappear to another city alone leaving she and the family alone. I got tired of always calling for truce until I finally solved the root cause of her problem wch was to leave the house we were staying at the time. Truth be told, since I moved out, my life n family has improved financially n Since then, it's been 2 yrs now, we've not had reasons to raise voices. Women mostime see what we as men don't see but they may not be able to analyze their perspective. It may not b logically correct based on our view as critical thinkers but if you obey, God has a way of showing himself.

Ahhhh life of a married woman is very bad especially in Nigeria, I have one religious sister at work sometimes ago, she's happily married BUT she's dating our MD in which I am the only one that knows about it. How I get to know I don't want anybody to ask, but the point is she use to have good relationships with the husband, also the husband is very ok. But why she's having extra marital affairs that is what am trying to find out. But till this moment she thought I don't know and the point is I am very disappointed in her.

It's good to stop alcohol if that's what you want but referring it as a bad altitude should remain in your mind.

Emotional abuse, silent treatment and lack of communication were what I faced. I sought a divorce, and I got it.

Marry a person who is interested in marriage.

Expenses! Those I wouldn’t ordinarily incur, but for marriage and kids. But they give more joy than can be quantified in money. I love family.

Well, since I'm married I'll speak only about marriage.

Marriage is like watching a KOREAN MOVIE without subtitle. To navigate it requires some level of ingenuity.

A man should just LOVE his wife without trying to UNDERSTAND her because women cannot be understood.

A woman on the other hand should just UNDERSTAND her man and not try to LOVE him overly because men cannot be loved.

Then, we should both respect each other's feelings and be ready to tolerate each other.

See ehn... This thread is timely. I am married (for want of a better word).. the case of divorce between her and I, has been in court for close to a year. And it's expensive. I just cleared the last installment of payment 3 weeks ago, so we both will be free say by this month end. Wahala everywhere... To marry wahala... To divorce wahala.

I won't advice ant young man to do court wedding sam sam. Just do traditional after you must have impregnated her. As for us... Our wedding didn't produce any children.

I'll come here and celebrate, maybe do giveaway when the divorce is concluded.

Marriage is about each understanding what he kr she wants from the marriage. Man should be clear why he wants to marry a girl, it should not be because of society pressure.
