Popular Nigerian socialite and nightlife boss, Cubana Chief Priest, has joined the growing voices calling for an end to public grazing following the tragic massacre in Benue State.

Taking to Instagram, the businessman made a passionate appeal to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to immediately outlaw open grazing across the country.

End open grazing.. infact don't end it with only order, place a penalty of 10 years imprisonment for anyone caught in the act of open grazing..
Also, PBAT should lift the directive issued to media houses to tag terrorists as bandits.. let them stop misleading the public with statements like "farmers-herders clash", there is nothing of such. what is happening is purely genocide and ethnic cleansing of indigenous Benue ethnic groups by those who seek to take over Benue lands.

Same problem from OBJ to Yaradua to Jonathan to Buhari to Tinubu.

We all know the problem already. Its nothing new. Its been there for over 20 yrs, becoming worse.
Its a popular rumor that these cows and herders work for HIGHLY placed Northern elites including retired Generals, Top politicians and even Terrorist kingpins. That's why they are heavily armed.
We have seen soldiers guarding herdsmen and their cows. ITS NOT NEW
Buhari on behalf of others once stormed Ibadan to confront the Gov over siezed cows that destroyed farms and killed farmers (General Buba Marwa, Alhaji Aliko Muhammed, Alhaji Abdulrazak and Alhaji Hassan where with him)

But each govt has refused to solve the problem because they know the people at the background and they know the dangers of going head to head with them.

Benue government is busy backing open grazing despite the killing in the state while their community leaders are selling/allocating land to herders to settle.

Banning open grazing won't solve the killings, are there not open grazing in the early 2000s undecided

Nigeria is under a siege and we are about to expirence a castotrophic guerilla warfare by sponsored terrorist from the sahel. There might be a plan to overrun the government of Nigeria and make it an Islamic state.
The CDS has hit the nail on his head when he said that Nigeria needs to construct a wall and some personnel are saboteur.
Nigeria needs a tightening her border security and construct walls around its borders, overhaul the military setup by retiring most of its generals just like how Rwanda did last year, create state policing, maintain database of every citizens to the least animals, install surveillance systems to every nuke & cranny (especially the threat prone areas)

Ranching a cow in Nigeria to full slaughter weight under controlled conditions would cost you close to ₦3 million in feed, vet, labor, and logistics.

That same cow?
Sold at ₦1.8 million in today’s market.

The only reason suya is still affordable is because of a silent subsidy—open grazing.

Yes, open grazing comes with a body count.
Yes, people have died from farmer-herder clashes.
But if you ban open grazing overnight, meat prices will triple or quadruple.

Are Nigerians ready to pay ₦120K for oxtail?
Will pepper soup become a luxury for senators only?

And There’s Another Layer:

If Nigerian Fulani herders are cut out overnight, foreign Fulani from Mali, Chad, and Niger will sell cheaper—why?
They still graze freely across vast Sahel routes.
They’ll dominate the market while local herders become unemployed.

No be today Fulani done dey Nigeria Nigeria is under invasion from the sahel and the military has been compromised.
A lots of the powerful guys in the military needs to be retired, banning open grazing is just a rat race in this issue.

My brother it will be good to end the open grazing thing as it will provide a short time solution to the killings all over the country most especially in the middle belt. However from the look of things, it seems these criminals have a bigger plan and they are just using cattle grazing as a strategy to launch and integrate the bigger plan. Nigeria needs to wake up they are taking people's lands and property in the name of grazing. If this is not ARMED ROBBERY, I wonder what it is.

Oga I am not their in the 50s but I believe we have been here at least since the early 90s (have you ever heard of mass killings like this until recent times). Nigeria is under a siege from sponsored terrorist masquerading as herdsmen and our military has been compromised.
