When the Hamas leader was killed in Tehran, they simply bombed the neighbourhood near strategic military establishments and some airfields. It was a signal to Isreal; we can hit any structure, but we don't want to escalate.

You might say that the Iranians were doing so because they felt they needed the time to build up the ultimate weapon, that's the nukes, but they have always had enough time to do so in the past if that was all they wanted.

No country has unlimited weapons, but the quantity a country has will determine how long they can hold off in a battle. Israel is very small, they cannot have quantities of weapons Iran has but I believe theirs are more advanced since they exchange weapons and technology with USA.

If Iran and Israel is left alone to fight it out without aid from any foreign countries to both of them, Israel will run out of stockpile before Iran and you know what that means. Local production cannot meet wartime demands, in fact during war, weapon factories are always targeted to cripple your opponent ability to keep fighting.

It has a fueled engine to fly it 2000 kilometres or 5 hours endurance to Israel, a guidance system, and a warhead. All this for just 20,000....when the cheapest ordinary 155mm artillery with a paltry range of only 30 kilometres will set you back at least 3,000 dollars.

Please it costs a lot more than 20,000 dollars except if it travelling by air cargo.
