Yes.

Jews were scattered all over the planet. After Roman destruction of the Holy land most Jews immigrant to various parts of the world. Europe, African, Asia and Arab Nations. If you check through out history all this places mentioned had Jewish populations and they were recognized as Jews.

During WW2 we saw how the Nazi rounded up the Jews, most flee to other European countries and were rejected, others ran to America.

Now, it begs the question, if these people weren't Jews, why did Hitler and his Nazi associate murder them. Or are we to believe that Hitler murder Europeans during the Holocaust. Mind you about 6 million Jews died during this period. Imagine the number.

Check Arab populations prior to 1948 and you'll clearly see the Jewish population. We had Jews in Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Syria, Lebanon, even Ethiopia. These Jews have lived in these places for hundreds of years. So should we now call them Arabs. Same can be said for Jews in Europe.

Although, they were in Europe for centuries, the Jews were never really accepted as Europeans, hence, the term European Jews which clearly indicates their identity as opposed to Europeans.

So, when Israel was founded in 1948, it was only natural for this people to return back to their ancestry lands.

Moreover, going by scriptures, it is written that the Jews will be scattered all over the earth and God will bring them back to their land. Whether you accept it or not. That prophecy has been fulfilled.

Purley for monetary purposes. They see Christians as fools willing to pay for these. I'm Christian but the way. And have a somewhat positive disposition to the State of Israel. But I'm not unaware that the average Israeli only see Christian pilgrims as cash cows. A Christian is more likely to get a cooking pot or plate from a Muslim than from a jew while in the State of Israel

Their OFFICIAL position is that the United nations (UN) gave them the land in 1948. At no time have they claimed that a Yahweh gave them the land because, of course, they know they can't prove it.

Having said that, it would require a knowledge of history to unentangle oneself from the web of lies and cover-ups before you understand their real history and where they originated.

The way to understand who they are is understand the difference between:-
(1) the children of God (mythology call them Israel)
(2) Hebrews
(3) Jews
(4) Hellenized Jews

Unfortunately, people don't understand the difference between the above, because once you do, you'll understand that they're not the same people written about in the so called "holy books"

Again, people don't know even as the Jews themselves clearly show below on their Wikipedia page that Israelites, Hebrew, and Jews are rather like their ancient relatives, and not themselves.

The various archeological discoveries so far mede in the area presently called Israel attest to the facts that the present state of Israel is the area roughly occupied by the ancient Jewish kingdoms of Judea and Israel. There are still relics of temples and landmarks from bulilical times littered all over Israel.
