Inter Miami has defeated FC Porto 2-1 at the FIFA 2025 Club World Cup. It’s a shock result that puts Lionel Messi’s MLS side second in Group A. Magisterial Lionel Messi Messi scored his first goal of the tournament with a spectacular free kick that sealed Inter Miami's second goal against Porto. At eight minutes into the second half, with the match still tight, the Argentine maestro took charge of a set piece.
