Just ensure you have enough panels or a strong battery because of the surge if the fridge is used.

Anyone with experience on growatt inverter. A friend of mine mistakenly did reverse polarity, and heard an explosion, inverter stopped working. I thought it was supposed to have a reverse polarity protection??

deye 16kwh battery is now available for 3.4m....if you add money for 6kw deye its still cheaper than SRNE 16kwh battery...SRNE supposed humble this period

Good morning nairalanders, please I have a 6kva deye inverter installed with a 14.3 kwh battery.
The problem is that the solar is showing 0.00w from the panels after installation.
The panels are total of 5900 watts.
Please can someone help me with a solution for this and what the problem might be.
The percentage on the battery is different from the percentage on the inverter and Im not sure the installer knows how to communicate them. Could this be the reason its showing 0.00w from solar panels ?

Start by sharing a picture of your installation as this will give insight on the components used and how the connection was done.

You also need to confirm the battery communication settings on the inverter as wrong settings will result to the issues you're facing with the battery readings.

I can assist to go over the settings with you via Whatsapp call, if it's ok with you drop your contact.

Ask your installer to check on his meter what the panel is generating… before connecting to the inverter

Yea, five in series twice.
Its showing zero watts when both dc breakers are ON, but the other pv shows 7v when one breaker is OFF and then it goes back to zero

Around 1:40pm,it was generating 5.4 from a possible 6. 3kw.
Roof is also slightly tilted towards the west

Used 10 of it lastweek. As for efficiency, I can't tell yet because the battery get filled up before peak sunlight hours.

There is something wrong with the panel connection sir they need to go over it again

Client is now paying Twice, Cheaper installation is the most expensive. Imagine not using proper sized cable to make the quotation appear cheaper.

Except they're not all brand new, at least from the one I tested.

The problem with Deriy 14.3Kwh Hithium White Battery with MCCB is the cells are not brand new. See the attached image of the QR code. How can you say cells manufactured in 2021 are brand new?! Or are these fake QR codes? Whichever it is, it's still false marketing.
The BMS (image attached) was programmed to charge at 40amps, new cells are supposed to support charging at 1c. Or are the Hithium cells in Deriy different?
In Southern Nigeria lifepo4 needs to be charged as fast as possible because of the weather, the sky is not always clear like in the north. So anyone with high PV output should be able to charge at 1c or 0.5?

One more thing is the Deriy 14.3Kwh Hithium White Battery with MCCB is not DIY friendly because the cells are welded (image attached)
It won't be easy to replace a cell if something goes wrong in the future. DIYers should have this in mind before buying Deriy battery pack. You get what you pay for but KaylaDeriy shouldn't be marketing these as brand new, they're definitely not.

Nice community you guys have here, researching this battery to get more info & Google landed me on this thread. Capacity test to follow soon, these are first observations.

Is there a possibility a firmware update might be affecting my inverter's ability to see pv ?
10 590w jinko panels from fouani is showing 0 watts from pv side but working well with nepa.
The wire of 5 in series was tested and it got 240 volts.
There's also a little spark when the dc spd is turned off/on

a little spark on ur spd calls for concern. who tested the pv wires to read 240dc.. pls go over ur connections again ensure u are not puting positve wire on negative terminals.. a picture of ur connection would be helpful.. ur case just too early

The inverter has been disconnected so I can take it to where I got it from for further tests
